Got a trivia night tomorrow night and the theme is 1989.
Can anyone tell me who won the Premier League in 1989?

:gotigers
THere was no premier league in 1989 would be the correct answer. Back then it was called the first division. In 1991/92 it changed name to the Premier League.
I can't be bothered looking it up but I think it might be A r s e nal.

Well that might explain why I couldn't find it lol
Thanks Jake :thumbsup

A r s e nal.
Umm-ahh, bypassed the swear filter (can be a pain in the r's).
Looked very funny when it said "Behindinal". :D

I used to love the bikes back in those days. Wayne Rainey and my favourite Kevin Schwanz (mad Texan lol).

1991/92 was the last year the top flight was actually referred to as the 1st division. Just for the record Leeds United won the title.
1992/93 was the first year of the Premier League which Manchester United won.
