I would think it is purely a match fitness issue bluey_21
By the end of the game he is absolutely stuffed - part and parcel of doing zero pre-season I reckon.
Actually don't think he has played an entire game in the ressies yet. Probably want him to play an entire game before he plays seniors
-
Too subtle for you WP ;)
Just saying with all these impressive stats and appraisals from McRae he sounds if he deserves a senior call up to the burgers
-
I wonder if it'll be like past RFC training sessions with McGuane on Limbach.

Coburg Tigers dump Seagulls
16 July 2007 Herald Sun
Geoff Poulter
COBURG Tigers' decisive home win against Williamstown yesterday was some consolation for Richmond after the Tigers were clobbered by Hawthorn at the MCG.
Richmond-listed players figured prominently in the 66-point drubbing, including forwards Kent Kingsley (five goals) and Jack Riewoldt (four).
Midfielder Andrew Krakouer had 23 possessions, Cleve Hughes took 10 marks and Patrick Bowden was busy.
"We were really pleased with our win. We were underdogs and they had a lot of Collingwood players playing," Coburg coach Andrew Collins said.
"There probably wasn't a Richmond player who didn't put up his hand.
'Our forward line worked really well.
"(Richmond coach) Terry Wallace has given a lot of those kids a good look . . . they have their best football ahead of them.
"We are just aiming over the next five weeks to try to get into the top four. It would be great."

good news here
1/ KK is still trying, knowig he may be delisted at yrs end.....great character!
2/ jackie boy has not dropped his head and again showing great character for a kid
3/ krak, with all talk about how lazy he is and does not wanna be around is also showing character by another bog performance
i reckon next week, cleve, KK, jack, krak , meyer, jon, connors, peterson, mguane moore and gus should all come in
and richo, sugar, tiv, tuck, hyde , hartigan, schulz, joel, howat jackson snake(cos he is unfit) must all be given a game at coburg.
lets get serious about the future and play the yr out like this. if we have to, play richo til his 250th and he should announce b4 that game that it will be his last.
we have nothing to lose this yr, lets see what these kids have got and give them game time together atthe top level.
our fwd line does not function, no matter how hard richo tries , he is a hindrance.
at coburg, they play 3 and at time 4 talls together, and they all function well. at richmond, richo cannot allow the fwd to function with another tall in it.
pavlich isnt selfish, richo is

The problem is the midfield. That's where footy games are won. Richmond's problem for years has always been the midfield. No or little quality and no depth.
Coburg's forward line works well because firstly it's VFL level and the likes Neville, Shelton, the Carusos, Farrelly plus the RFC players can get heaps of the pill at that level and control the midfield and corridor in most games.
Richmond's midfielders at AFL level can't. We are forced to go wide and indirect hence why we have only lead one inside 50 count all year. Yesterday it was 47-70 in inside 50s. That's a thrashing in anyone's language. Mitchell, Crawford and Lewis tore us to shreads yesterday. Granted Campbell and Taylor won more hitouts but Mitchell had some ridiculous number of centre bounce clearances. Tucky was left for dead. From about the 15 minute mark of the first quarter (when we were 3 goals up) onwards Hawthorn totally controlled the game. We just hung on for two quarters contriving goals thanks to mainly to Browny's smarts before the floodgates opened.

WP can you give your thoughts on the RFC boys :). In particular how Danny went this week. Did he back up his workrate of last week?

Yes I thought Danny did back up his workrate this week. He spent most of the game on HFF or wing. Put alot of F50 pressure on the oppostion which was very good to see.
Hughes - worked really well with Kent & Jack this week. See below :thumbsup
Kent - I thought Kent did what he should do and that was take on the leadership of the forward line. He basically captained the forwards and it really helped the likes of Cleve and Jack
more later - my dinner is served :rollin

I am back - dinner was great
And then it was family time :thumbsup
Where was I ???
Oh yeah
Kent: as I was saying he really helped the likes of Cleve and Jack with their leading - the set play sort of stuff. Did a lot of talking inthe 1/4 & 3/4 qtr time huddles - Say what you like about Kent but he really does have footy smarts
Matty White: good for Matty to play an entire game IMO. Played mainly in the mid-field and set up a number fo drives into the forward line. Got caught a couple of times trying to run and carry a little too much
JON: started on the bench. But had an impact when he came on. Started on the wing and then rotated between HB and the centre, drifting up forward. Improvement in decision making this week I thought but still needs to kick the guts out of the ball sometimes rather than looking ot pass it off. Would even suggest he needs to on ocassion, be a little selfish if that makes sense
Trav Casserley: best kick on the Tiger list without question. Let's hope he can stay injury free so we can see some of his disposal in the Tiger line-up before the season is out
Kel Moore: played acrros the back line. The back 6 for Coburg on Sunday were outstanding - they all played very well
Gus Graham: rotated off the bench with Ronaldson. Around the ground work very good - still has a lot to learn in the rucking department. Disposal let him down a few times on Sunday
ANdy Krakoouer: excellent by Krak. Played alot in the mid field and skill wise was a cut above the oppostion but let's be honest thats what you'd expect. But I thought it was a very consistent game from Krak. Obviously needs to back it up
McGuane: to me best of the RFC blokes - should be promoted this week :thumbsup
Tas Clingan: played in the Burger 2's - very steady.
Carl Peterson: starred. Silky skills this kid. Played the enitre game spoke to him afterwards he was happy with how he played. Did mention he was pretty tired after the game. No great surprise there with the ground being so heavy
-
cheers WP :cheers
just on JON and your comment that he needs to be more selfish I have read some where else.
IIRC it was from Wisbey's profile on him, saying that JON had the leg speed to do some really damage, just didn't use it enough
Also, the Peterson rave reports just keep coming don't they ;) :cheers

Cheers WP. Good to hear. Thanks for the reports :cheers. Fingers crossed for Cass for the rest of the year :pray.
ps. Where's our main man Jack? ;D
