I'll post this here as it'll get lost in the Coburg thread.
Danny went off injured in the second quarter of the Coburg game and didn't come back on. WP said it's a minor medial ligament.
-
I asked the club's fitness co-ord about Danny. He has a grade 1.5 medial. Not a bad one but not the lowest which is grade 1. Out for 3 weeks.
Btw Tas Clingan has broken a bone in his foot :( so although they (our trainers) are hoping he'll be back before the end of the season you'd reckon Tas' year is over.
-
Very unlucky for Tas after breaking into the senior Coburg line-up.
I hope he gets another year as a rookie.

IMO Howat would be the only rookie at risk.

Phew.
I dont really care for Howat. Will just become as maligned as Tivendale eventually anyway.

clingan injury won't hurt his chances too much, safe for another year at least IMO.
The worry is meyer, he is running out of time to impress and get back into the senior side

It's going to be hard to see Danny play seniors this year now. 3 weeks out plus a couple more at Coburg even if plays well is basically the AFL season gone.
-
still reckon that Meyer will be held on to at least for another year. Prob on a performance based contract

3 weeks for MEyer is best case Chutney reckons

lol the Richmond trainer said to a Y&B member Meyer might miss a week.
But it's a 1.5 medial strain. ???
If he gets over a 1.5 medial in a week it'll be very rare.

Confirmed by McRae. Danny 2-3 weeks, Tas gone for the year.
