What ins and outs to the side will/should there be this week against the Swans?
It appears Barry Hall will be back for the Swans btw :-\.
-
what i would love to see for the rest of the yr
in: cleve meyer tambling krak connors jon casserly gus peterson
out: richo joel sugar tiv tuck hyde howat and snake* and raines*
* they just need a time in the vfl to gain fitness and confidence and be right for next year
we must make these changes for the rest of the year, we have nothing to lose but much to gain . let these kids play with and for each other and see the beginning of something special
-
In: Krak (has to be promoted on Coburg form), Gus, Tambling
Out: Howat, Simmo* and one of Hyde, Jacko or Rainesy*
* Similar reasons to X. Both Simmo and Rainesy will be at Punt Rd next year so give them a run at Coburg to regain confidence and/or fitness. Rainesy is still getting the footy so he may keep his spot but he needs to regain the confidence of last year with his decision making both defensively and when run and carrying the footy. Howat, Hyde and Jacko won't be part of the future. So the outs from this group of 5.
Some very lucky players will keep their place in the side only because it protects the cubs from put to the wolves and we're hoping for trades.

ditto.
For me, just get rid of the deadwood ie Tuck, Tivas and so forth.
Bring in the kids and play them. I don't care if we get smashed, as long as kids are getting AFL experience rather than pumping up the stats of has beens

Both Raines and Tuck should be dropped.
In Krakouer and Cleve, and put Kane Johnson in the back pocket in Raines' absence.
-
Tambling in this week according to Caro tonight.
-
Ins: Tambling and Krak
Out: Hyde and Jackson
Actually think there should be more but reckon at least these 2 are the way to go

Howat for Casserly or Connors, WP?
IMHO, Casserly will get called up before Connors does.
Although he has had a wretched run with injury his fitness base is a lot higher IMO. Also doesn't ahve connors current discipline problems.

Good point bluey_21 -
I actually spoke to a footy coach about this a few weeks ago and he told me that they give players certain things (KPIs) each week. And sometimes this may mean not a truckload of possessions but say 10 tackles and that's to be their main focus. Fans may thinks someone has had a shocker because they've had only 12 kicks instead of 25 but the coaches are rapted with their perfomance because they hit the tackle target. I was told this applies alot in situations where a blokes been struggling for form

Could be if we're dropping a tall in Sarge. McRae's Coburg report isn't up on the RFC site yet but Gus has been earning praise for a few weeks in a row now. Rotate Simmo, Patto and Gus against Everitt and Jolly while one plays forward.

cheers WP :cheers
I guess journo's are prob just loooking for players with big stats and play a flashy brand of footy

Yep,will need all three against two of the best in the league.
-
Nice, hopefully Connors can keep his mongrel.
Just hearing "Connors kicks to the wing to Edwards who takes a bounce and kicks to RIIIIIIIIIEEEWOLDT!" would be enough for me for the game whether we won or lost. :thumbsup
Go the Kids!

You still going on with it. Richo is not deserving of you. Surely you should be watching Big Brother.
You are sure one sad person! I am prepared to buy you a Collingwood membership next year. Now they are deserving of your loyalty!
