Sheeds is still chasing the Melbourne job while Windy Hill implodes and Wallace is contracted for 2 more years so that'll be a No ;).
-
Doesnt look that way Oxman.
I actually dont think Sheeds will get a job at all now for next season.
If this is the case, we will be back here again next year discussing what round Wallace will get the arse etc, etc.
-
something tells me sheedy wont coach top level ever again

u can say i told you so! does not bother me
i still stick to my word, if wallace has lost the playing group he should go.
if wallace has total support of the playing group he should stay, but he must make changes and get the team playing harder footy.
i think wallace will change his style, i think he finally realises his plans and game plan was just no good.
this was proven last week

I think you are right Bull.
Sadly the last 2 weeks of insipid efforts by the Bomber players has probably insured that.
I reckon everyone knows I was against him coming back to the Tigers and I never thought he would but it is unfortunate (seriously) to see what is happening at Bomberland now - perhaps he should have done a Daniher N and walked away when the board gave him the stuff a roo for 2008. This current situation isn't doing his reputation any good.
And this isnt meant to be a dig at individuals but all the things that have come out in the press over the last couple of days about the "situation" at Essendon is exactly the same as the criticisms labelled at the RFC and in particular Wallace on this forum over the last couple of months.
I think the unity that's been shown at our club (by the board & footy dept and dare I say it the vast majority of supporters) has been a positive :thumbsup
hehehehe

A week sure is a long time in football!

The Essendon football club isn't being lead very well at the moment and I think what has happened there over the last few months is a pretty good indicator of that truth. Essendon would do well to find itself a new president.

Nah let them implode ;D. Les Patterson and Essendon have made a cock-up of the whole situation. They got the jitters because of Voss and dumped Sheeds midseason yet now they are prepared to wait until after September with some wishful thinking that they'll score either Williams or Thompson as coach.

Les Pattersen, I like that MT. I think that's hitting the nail right on the head.
Lets just sit back, have a beer and enjoy the carnage shall we :cheers
