Does anyone think Kingy will have anything to answer for to the tribunal for that collect on Armstrong?
-
yep :banghead
initial reaction from the live angle was that there was nothing in it and armstrong was playing for a 50. But from the angle it looked like a crude wack to the jaw.
Will definitely get looked at.
Prob will get a reprimand IMO as I don't think there was malice, just a reckless piece of play
-
Unfortunantely yes
and unfortunantely he might get a week.
It looked as if there was nothing in it initially but
they did say in the commentary the review panel were going to look at it.
-
Yes.
Would be really cruel for him to miss out on flogging those red and black maggots in their most significant day in 27 years.
-
The commentators said it was an accident so hopefully Kingy will be able to plea negligence rather than recklessness and get off on an early plea even if he is charged with striking.
-
Will get off. Was "accidental." He was trying to spoil! :whistle

Seems Kingy has no case to answer. 5 reports laid and his name wasn't mentioned :thumbsup

Contact between Richmond's Jake King and West Coast's Steven Armstrong from the second quarter of Saturday's match. It was the view of the panel that King kept his eye on the ball as he ran to the contest. As he arrived, he extended his left arm in an attempt to spoil. The contact to Armstrong was deemed to be unfortunate but accidental.

This will be Kingy's reaction tonight, glad he didn't have to face a tribunal in the mood for dishing out big suspensions.

the genius of it all is that he for sure meant it! :scream
