Title: Baker gets 7 weeks

The tribunal has ousted Saint Stephen Baker for 7 weeks for his "hit" on Farmer.

Not that I'm unhappy the little thug has copped his whack as he has history of off the ball hits with Sugar but sheesh! :gobdrop

SEN saying Baker got himself rubbed out as he admitted he collided with Farmer so the jury said he admitted rough conduct. His list of priors has bumped up the points from 3-4 weeks to 7.

He is, but the tribinal shouldn't be convicting blokes unless they have got plain evidence. The evidence from both parties was different, and the trainer didn't have such a clear view of it afterall.

Wasn't it whole point of introducing cameras and a 4th/emergency umpire to pick up these behind the play incidents?!  ??? Incredible that in 2007 we don't have behind the goal cameras as standard with $780 million in the game.

Actually he only got 4 weeks for his "rough conduct" the other 3 was for his abysmal record.

Saints appealing which is fair enough but maybe they should do something about his on filed antics

Baker is no better and he already had penalty hanging over him from his last cheap shot
just glad these 2 hitters got together they both lost out  ;D
