Bombers going hard to poach Mark Thompson from Geelong according to Hutchy.
-
Talk about over confident ::)
-
Thompson would be mad to want to leave a team he's built from scratch that is now in their premiership window to start all over again at Essendon.
A 5-year deal also says the Bombers themselves admit their list is in a shocking state after topping up under Sheeds for the past 5 years.
-
Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up back at the Bummers
$3 mill eh........
everyone has their price ;D :thumbsup
I'd coach the bumbling Bombers for that :whistle

Jacko picked this a long while back...that the bumbers were gonna make a major move for thomson.

He did.
The Bombers are taking a huge risk as they'll have to wait for the start of October to find out. If they miss out on their man then they'll be still searching for a new coach during trade week. Not to mention the EGM that they're now having to deal with.
Stability at Richmond and self-implosions at Essendon. Sweet :thumbsup.

Doesn't look very likely.

He is there preferred option, although he might be hard to get.
Guy McKenna next option

Thats the same contract Terry Walle$$ is on ;)
-
The only difference is Plough wasn't asked to dump a team in premiership mode for a rabble ;)
What about Neale Daniher? Some at Essendon think he's a show if Thompson says no.
-
According to Ch 10 late news, Bomber Thompson has told the Bombers no and Damien Hardwick will be named Essendon's new coach within the next 48 hours.

Damien Hardwick = big thug
