RICHMOND’S season may be over, but star forward Matthew Richardson is one of a number of Tigers still in the running for individual accolades.

Richardson was rewarded with a nomination for the AFL Army Award this week for his outstanding play in the fourth quarter against the Saints on Saturday at the MCG. 

Richardson chased hard up the field, applying second and third efforts, to eventually pressure his opponent over the line and force a throw-in.

Can't believe he doesn't get nominated for playing with a broken eye socket and all but winning the game of his own boot, but gets a guernsey for last week.  I live in a constant state of confusion.
