Title: 4 of the 6 finalists left missed the finals in 2006

I'm not expecting a big improvement next year from us but this year must be close to a record for the number of clubs that have improved out of sight. Shows things can change fairly quickly if you do things right.

Geelong    10th
Hawthorn  11th
Port Adel   12th
Kangaroos 14th 


St Kilda, Bulldogs, Freo and Melbourne fell out.

and the pattern of at least one team coming from outside the 8 the previous year to the top 4 continued

Well there were 2 this year
Geelong 1st
Kangaroos 4th.

Adelaide, Sydney and the Roos look like being in danger of falling out next year.
