I was one of the cretins that laughed at Kouta.
Nice day and sitting under one of the speakers at Punt road end was really loud.
Ohh and creaming myself :whistle

We had the in-laws from WA over and Mini-me had just caught her first fish and they were all telling me to come outside and have a look but with 6 mins to go the fish would wait.

Was that Silvagni's 300th?
Remember us being pretty gracious in victory.
As far as Carlton players go, there were plenty I hated more than SOS

I must admit I was quietly happy when Kouta went down.

SOS 300th was in Round 11 that year which coincidently was a win
13 10 88 to 8 13 61.
My memories of the 2nd semi were these.
Very sunny day much like 2nd semi final day in 1995.
Us start very well thanks to a few SOS clangers with Richo cashing in.
Blues come back.
Nick Daffy backing back doing his shoulder.
Koutas knee
Duncan Kellaway's goal in the 3rd quarter. 50 metre kick that if it was a drop punt
would've fallen 20 mtres short.
Me shaking in fear and anticipation in the last quarter as the Blues kept
kicking points then Hilton kicks the winning goal as we caught them on the Break.
More points to Carlton.
Final siren
Getting peeed.
Can't think of a better day at the footy unless it was a Grand Final of course.

I was OS at the time and just remember being told that for a final it was one of the worst standard of games in history. I was just happy we won and as I was due back in Oz the day before the GF I emailed the club to ask for GF tickets :wallywink.
