Head

Winner and margin? Geelong 60

Norm Smith medalist? Bartel (Hate Geelong but cant hate this bloke)

Heart

Winner and margin? Port 1 point after the siren - rofl

Norm Smith medalist? Bartel in a losing team

Funny thing is I dont really mind geelong as a team, just cant stand their supporters.

Cant stand some of the thing sure power dudes and their supporters aint the greatest either, but being over here don't have to deal with them as much.

And I want to be able to call cats hanbaggers when they hang it on us.

Don't care much so long as we don't have to listen to Port's song.

Geelong by 62 points

Far and away the best team in the comp. When Port beat them in Round 21 Bartel and a few others whose names elude me were missing.
Essendon lost in round 21 2000 to spoil their perfect season I guess Geelong's winning run was spoilt by Port that day but not their premiership dream.

Gary Ablett to follow in his old man's footsteps and win a Norm Smith in a year the Cats got a Brownlow Medallist.

Hmmm....played all but 2 games and then dropped for the GF.  :o

Must be devastated.

Poor kid. He was dropped for King after having a day out against us and now dropped for the Grand Final again for King after one bad game. No wonder he and his family is devastated. Derek Kickett still has never forgiven Sheedy after being dropped for the 93 Grand Final.

I am more and more leaning towards (and hoping) it's Port.

Ablett and Blake not wanting to talk from the Grand Final parade, I think the Cats are packing their dacks.

Cats kick the first 4 goals, but the Power only down by 1 goal at quarter time, then they absolutely roll the Cats.

Power by 44 (few late consolation goals to Geelong)

Norm Smith: Boak

Agree wayne. Geelong making the same mistakes during GF week they always do. Just way over the top and so much pressure on the players to break their premiership drought even though the current players had nothing to do with Geelong not having won a flag for 44 years. If and when the Tiges eventually make the big dance one day, I hope we as a club don't keep harping into the players that the club hasn't won a flag for a long time.

I'd hope we'd go in as underdog.

I can handle being red hot favourite if it was like 1980  ;).

If Geelong wins tomorrow let's hope history repeats itself - a Tigers' flag 4 years later. Fits in with Plough's 2011 plan too  :D.

The Pussies are on song. If they keep this up it's going to be a one-sided GF.  Stokes is a very lucky boy if he hasn't done any damage to his knee. It looked like he had done his ACL when he landed on it.

Not today. Just 2 kicks in 3 quarters for D-Rod.

Otto has been great. It would be a Norm Smith medal game if he had kicked straight. Should have had 4 goals.

Did anyone else notice Duncan Kellaway as a Cats runner?

DUNCAN IS also the cats team physio.

anyway as a spectacle it was a very very boring game, the good thing about it is that now the game that the cats thumped us is forgotten, that was a way worse effort by port esp bec it was a granny.

rodan just proved why we got rid of him, like many port players, motlop, ebert , hoff, tredrea etc, all down hill skiers.

it was 22 players v 4( the cornes and burgoynes)

otto, good luck to him, played gr8 but he is still a 2 faced spineless pr ick.

highlight of the day...jake king!!!!

There are few who use to be at Richmond.

Balmey of course.
Brendan McCarthey was an assistant coach to Geischen.

Pretty sure Steve Johnson, Scarlett and Bartel shared the judges votes with Johnson winning the medal.

+ Chapman

- Bartel.

Pretty sure all voted for Johnson, Scarlett and Chappy in different order.
