Title: Rate a Tiger's year: 44. Angus Graham
Post by: one-eyed on September 27, 2007, 12:50:28 PM
Next up is Gus. How did we rate his progress this year?

After spending most of 2006 with the Coburg ressies, Gus played most of this year with Coburg seniors (15 games) before making his AFL debut in R18 against Geelong. Unfortunately broke his ankle the following week and missed out on Coburg's final series and the VFL Grand Final.

He looks like he has potential. Rookie for another year.

Gus is still raw but he's improving. He's done in 2 years as much as Meesen has in 3. Both played 2 AFL games. Not sure if he should be promoted from the rookie list as yet but I'd guess the club wants to be able to play him in the AFL seniors at their choosing rather than relying on someone going onto the long-term injury list.

Having watched Gus progress from Coburg ressies 12 months ago to see him play AFL footy is an absolute credit to this kid and his dedication

Still very raw but shows promise for the long term  :clapping
