Let's put KB's words to the test in a poll.
Would you trade away picks 2 & 18 to get Judd to Tigerland?
-
initally i thought yes. i thought judd is worth it.
but
the more i think about i say no.
i would rather pick up judd only if he falls through to teh psd and thats millers job atm, to make sure nothing goes smooth sailing with the judd deal and keep throwing spanners in the works and creating disruptions.
if we trade for mitch morton next week , im certain cale will be our 1st pick at the draft(not cotchin). i believe both mortons have heaps of upside and im hoping we pick up gourdis and also deledio in the draft.
but if we do trade 2 for judd , i wont cry

thats a negative for me.
stuff judd and stuff the blues. i would rather watch and gloat as he wins another medal..wooden spoon
eff him

Yes for me.
He will bring so much to the club in terms of membership, sponsors etc that we will have increased income and in turn should be able to pump all that money back into our football department making it better every year.
-
Yep
A proven champion is better than 2 unknowns anyday
-
Pick 2 & 18 for Judd and WCE's first round pick I'd do that trade.
I'd prefer pick 2 and sending a couple of players instead but hey you can't everything.
I said this before if we seriuosly have a chance at getting arguably the best player in the competition (certainly the best mid fielder) then we have to have try

Whatever we do it better be dishonest and be whats best for the club....OUR CLUB!!!

Richmond is an honorable institution gentlemen. We are here to represent the best interests of the working classes- the RFC, that means its our duty it is our obligation to bend over the toffs. so the honorable thing to do is to buy the bluebaggers the vaseline and prepare for a future working class insertion which hopefully will be next week lol.

I have no problem with the picks aspect of the deal, but I do have a problem with the dollar aspect of it.
1 mill, no player is worth that :- It pretty much starves the rest of your list.
If this is the money he wants then do a deal for 2 years at a mill a year and if after 2 years he still wants a mill then trade him for two more 1st rounders.

My only question mark on Judd is the severity of his injury and how will he be hampered by it post op as he really struggled in the second half of the year and the Eagles continually playing him will have worsened it more and more.
Nevertheless a well credentialled and universal champion has not been lured to Richmond for a very long time and and a proven champion at 24 is always worth more than 2 unproven guys in the draft.

forget it buddy it aint gonna happen as much i want to screw the blues
knowing our luck judd will come to punt road at the expense of pick 2 and that pick 2 will turn into another buddy franklin for whoever picks him up
-
2 & 18 would be a steal for the best player in the AFL.
-
nahhhh ... blues have got him !!!
-
In a heartbeat.
