miller dhould walk away from all trade talks and do what ramps has suggested in another thread.
we must keep all our picks and if we are lucky , try and get another pick in teh top 10 or 20 if clubs chase us for a player(very unlikely)
but what we should do is stop chasing mitch morton and forget cale morton.
we all no wce want cotchin, well f"ck the eagles, they did us no favours whilst we tried to help them.
so to please many (esp mt) and do whats right for the rfc, we must as i said forget the mortons and shove it up wce and pick cotchin with pick 2
(ps, if wce want to give us mitch, fine , they can have krak or tivendale 4 him, no picks)

We should be walking away now, theres no need for M.Morton or Hooper- a cheap ruckman is what we should target- Moran for Hartigan and a late pick. If we did get 16 for Schulz we are laughing. Lets just get kids now.

The RFC needs to keep bringing to the club young UNTRIED players.
Any player who is borderline or suspect should be offered as a trade for in return a pick.
Recycled or tried players from other clubs ARE NOT the future of this football club. We have gone through enough pain with the Billy Nichols and the Kent Kingsleys of this world
If you think the future is introducing tried players from other clubs, finals will be twenty years away at this rate.

I think its fair to say we had a fair crack at it this week but right now we're not going to get anything super good so kids in the draft should be the strategy.

Have to agree with Jacko here, recycling and dealing just for the sake of it is a crock.
Only player worth anything in this is sown up and will be at carlton 'deal with it ppl'
Jude Bolton would be good 4 us if we were further advanced but we aint.

It doesn't take much for you to stop attending matches and supporting the club, does it ramps? The sky hasn't fallen in, you know.

I'm with most of you...If we Do a trade for moran, pick Cotchin @ 2 and then hopefully pick up Morton in the PSD.

Maybe we're hoping to go one better in the VFL this season. JON to the Coburg Ressies and McMahon to take his spot, and since Krakouer sounds like he's going, Rhan Hooper is the perfect replacement to crumb in the Coburg forward line.
It's so blantantly obvious to all but the RFC.

Did Miller and co. notice our ruck stats for the year? Maybe because Foley got so used to and good at sharking opposition taps, that is our game plan now???

What I understand is that Simmonds will again be underdone due to his lung.

Can anyone tell me if Moran is more advanced that Patto or Gus in the development process??

We shouldn't pick up Cotchin to stick it up the Eagles but because he's a talented ready-to-go young onballer who just happens to be exactly what we need more of in the midfield. At the moment we only have Foley.
West Coast knowing we'll most likely pick up Cale Morton with pick 2 meant they knew with pick 3 from Carlton they can still get Cotchin who they actually want. There was no need to push Carlton for pick 1.
I agree we should just hold onto our first and second round picks and bring another batch of kids through as that is what the top clubs did/do each year. However those inside the club seem to want to repeat the same mistakes of the past and trade away good picks for other clubs' offcuts :help.
