One of the big tests for us is to not only try and build and develop a quality list with depth but to also have blokes who will step up with something special and get us across the line in the big games and the finals.
So who do think on our current list are or can end up big-game players?

Richo
Polo after all won the medal for Dreamtime in his first game.
Foley
thats about it right now
Others have potential others are lucky to be on our list
but the 5 mentioned are bona fide match winners big game big time players.

As far as finals go..who knows? It's likely going to be at least a year away probably two..

Daniel Jackson anyone ??? Didn't do too bad when it counted against the Magpies.

I thought he was good against the Bombers also HK.
He can be but needs to eliminate errors he makes sometimes like awareness and getting run down from behind as hapenned on a few occasions in 07. Nevertheless the improvement was evident and here is to the continuation of that improvement.

Agree with many of the others already mentioned.
I would chuck in Patto. His big tank gets him through games as those around him tire. He could end up a big 4th quarter player.
If Tambo can improve his defensive side, he can still become that damaging player we've seen brief glimpes of.

If Patto can somehow improve his agility and mobility around the ground and become more dextrous I agree MT he will be great as his committment to the cause cannot be faltered. If Raines can also recapture his 2006 form and not try to take on everybody before dishing off he will be an asset of half back also.

Hopefully it was just a major case of 2nd year blues for Rainesy. He should write on the back of his hand before each game "first option".

i really like this bloke.
he has gutz, determination and tries his heart out.
he is one of few people who i know can run through the packs and defend his teammates on the field.

Hopefully Jacko can build on this year and have a breakout year in 2008. He still needs to work on his disposal and decision making at times.

that would be one concern for me, his action always seems to be in slow motion and he could get caught out
