I'd still give number 9 to Jake King but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen so....
Cotchin = 9
Rance = 27
Putt = 38

Angus Graham needs a new number in my opinion. He should move up from 44 to 16 or 19

He doesn't want it. He's almost guaranteed to be the best player to have worn 46 :thumbsup

Cheers HT, did a google however the crappy AFL site didn't give Murray's numbers.
Dont think Jacko & Petts would surrender their numbers.

I am told it was spoken about on SEN but my info is third hand, I didn't hear it myself but read about it on another board. The source is usually pretty reliable it wasn't BigFooty :D
-
read over on PRE that Cotchin has been give no. 9 from the same source SEN
-
Cotchin was wearing 38 at training today but a few of them were not wearing their normal number. Putt had 13 which is McMahon's while Jordie wore Browny's 7. Silvester was wearing 16.
Who is wearing 20 now Gumpas has retired?

I'd like to hear that one. I've only ever heard his horrible version of it (the annoying one that gets played on the radio).

Cotchin to wear No. 9

Boom Richmond recruit Trent Cotchin will wear the No. 9 guernsey at Tigerland.
The Tigers’ No. 1 pick in last Saturday’s National Draft (and No. 2 overall) is delighted to have the opportunity to wear the No. 9, which has been retired since Wayne Campbell hung up his boots at the end of the 2005 season.
“I’ve worn No. 9 the last few years . . . I started wearing it when I went to PEGS (Penleigh Essendon Grammar) the first time,” Cotchin said.
“Before then I wore No. 3, but I don’t think I could take it from ‘Liddsy’ (Brett Deledio) here.
“I’m really happy to have it . . . I would have been happy with any number, but to be that low – and Wayne Campbell’s old number – I feel privileged.”
In further guernsey news from Punt Road, the Club’s No. 2 selection in the ’07 Draft, talented West Australian key defender Alex Rance, has been given No. 18, while 202cm ruckman-forward, Dean Putt, from the Calder Cannons, will wear No. 19.

"Luke McGuane will now wear No. 16, after offering his newly-acquired No. 18 guernsey to Rance, who has worn that number right throughout his junior playing career."
Good on you Luke, though he hasn't worn 18 it yet so I doubt it is much of a hardship.
