Title: Votes round 19 - RFC vs Geelong
Post by: mightytiges on August 08, 2004, 08:37:46 PM
3. Krakouer - Superb today. Classy for a side that lacks alot of class plus for a little bloke he puts his body on the line.
2. Rodan
1. Hartigan

Bowden got alot of the ball but Steven Johnson got 4 goals.
Brown did too and was pretty good but he made a couple of poor decisions (kicked over Rodan's head when it would have been a mark 30m out and lobbed a ball to the front of the square when going for goal was the obvious better choice).
Richo once again got heaps of it but squandered most of them  :scream
Hall wasn't too bad in the ruck. At least made a contest and from watching the game live we seemed to break even in centre-bounce clearances through Krakouer and Rodan.
Tivs and Gas were actually in the game for a change. Best game for Gas since coming back from his knee.
Zantuck was fairly good on Graham (no brownlow votes for him this time at least).

Morrison had a shocker. Houlihan, Chaffey and Fiora  :sleep

3. Bowden
2 Hartigan

I will get bagged for this but I thought Gaspar did improve as the game went on.

 ;D

You must admit the last 3 weeks he's been good. Reckon he's saved his AFL career for another year after looking totally lost a month ago.

How does Bowden continue to get rave reviews when his man is continually getting the ball and doing 30 times more damage than him?

*Note: I wasnt at the Geelong game nor have I seen it, but I am just goig on recent weeks and what I herad from teh radio and stats for this week*

The Golden Turnup - Adam Houlihan - you get paid to kick goals and yesterday you didn't - disgrace and good-bye, adios, sayonara, ciao , c-ya - get the message. Fair dinkum - there a some kids at Coburg that deserve a game more than him - Tuck, Raines, Gilmour do I need to go on :banghead
