It's less than a week until the big guy in red arrives :santa. So just in case some people are heading away early or going on holidays over the Christmas/New year break, I just want to wish all OERites and your families a happy and safe Christmas and New Year and to thank you all for your support of OER via posts, pm's and emails throughout 2007 :cheers.
Of course none of this would be possible without my pardner in crime, WP. So a special thanks to Will :bow :thumbsup :cheers.
OER is ready for a big 2008 :gotigers
Bring on the turkey and stuffing :thumbsup :burgereater

Well done to MT and WP on another great year. You two have done a fantastic job again keeping the site up and running.
Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Christmas and New Years period. Make sure you enjoy it but dont push it too far when drinking, lifes too short to through it away.
Hope that Santa brings everything that you want and that Terry turns our Tigers into a classy young outfit next season :pray

Merry Xmas to you all.
Big thank you to WP MT and anyone else involved with the running of OER. (Sorry if I don't know who you are) This board saved me in my darkest posting hour, lol, and rekindled my enthusiasm for talking about all things Richmond.
Thank you everyone for your informative, balanced and on the whole, non depressing posts. It is surprising just how much information is readily available on this board and how easy it is to find. I have also been impressed with the level of tolerance shown by posters during my short time as a regular poster. Well done everyone on a very pleasant and happy community.
Merry Xmas to you all and a happy and safe new year to you and your families.

RROFO.
PS. there seems to be a shortage of festive smilies.

Thanks to you MT and WP for maintaining a great site where all of us regardless of our backgrounds have a common link and can chat about something that is dear to all of us in the Yellow and Black.
Perhaps in the new year we can all organise a gathering of the forumites to actually put a face to the name.
For the upcoming festive season and new year may it bring happiness health prosperity and joy to all forumites and their families.

I played around with a "make your own montage" website Moi emailed to me. Did a quick Tigers one for Christmas to see how it works. I left out the santa hats Moi :wallywink.

LOL Moi :lol. Iced chilled Heineken ;).
I was in the city last night and saw something terrific and then sad in the space of an hour. Firstly recommend the Crown atrium display for those with kids (and big kids). Very well done. Then we walked across the pedestrian bridge to the CBD and the cops had cordoned off Flinders St from Swanston to Queen Sts. At the corner of Elizabeth there were two cars, one with the front of the car "squashed". We thought it had hit a pole but later found out that car had hit and killed a pedestrian :(. No wonder a cop gave a couple of people walking against the lights an absolute spray.
