Richmond – Sam Blease, Ben Griffiths.
Both kids from the Eastern Rangers. According to someone on BF, Griffiths is a 192 cm FF/CHF with an outstanding kick and mark while Blease is a short midfielder with elite speed and endurance who can really find the footy. Last year we had Cotchin training with us so who knows we could see one of these kids in Y&B in 12 months time.

Yeah but this time last year people were already talking about Cotchin being a top 3 pick, so there was no way I was expecting (or wanting) to see him in Yellow and Black, since what this inferred about our 2007 season was just unthinkable.

Hopefully Sam Blease and  Ben Griffiths are expected to be late first round picks. Then I'll be happy for them to join us. :thumbsup Unless of course we manage to trade for an early first rounder.

Thanks for that Tiges08 and welcome to OER. Sounds like this year's draft is a lot like 2006 where you'll pick up a top kid even if you don't finish down the bottom of the ladder. Naitanui, Rich, Hurley, Trengove, Hartlett, Yarran plus these two kids are just for starters.

Impressive summary. Bottom age too as he qualifies for this year's draft by only 2 months.
