New knee injury may be end for Biglands
Jake Niall | February 2, 2008
ADELAIDE ruckman Rhett Biglands has a suspected torn anterior cruciate ligament, which has thrown the 30-year-old's career in doubt.
Biglands, who was returning from a knee reconstruction that forced him to miss the 2007 season, is facing another reconstruction to the same left knee as a result of a training mishap last weekend.

A lot of people predicted the the Crows to fall this year. This news almost confirms it given they also traded away two ruckmen. Bad luck to Biglands. A decent ruckman too.

Me one of them.
Bad luck to the big fella :-\

Shocking news on a personal level for Rhett.
Even more shocking for the Crows.
Neil Craig will have a monumental job getting this mob up this year. It will only take an injury to one of their ageing midfielders to certainly confirm their slide down the ladder. :help

Everyone has Plough in their sights as first coach to get the sacked but Neil Craig would be my favourite. In Adelaide he'll be under massive pressure.
