To fill the two new sides the AFL wants on the Gold Coast and Western Sydney, one of the suggestions is for each club to list 10 "untouchables". New clubs then would have the right to seek to contract two players from each club's list outside of those untouchables. The contracted players also would have to want to go.
So who would be our 10 untouchables? (http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/news/expansion-the-details/2008/02/18/1203190740417.html?page=stuff.[/url)

Says alot about the state of our list when 2 of the 10 haven't made a senior debut and 1 other hasnt played for 2 years.

Every player is tradeable, its just that 'currency' you get back needs to exceed what you are letting go for list structure and needs.
To say that Coughlan after his two recos, as well as Polo and Pattison are untouchable is highly debatable.

I was racking my brains to come up with that list, possibly swap Polo for Newman and King might be in there as well.
Coughlan has some time on his side, Patto is our only ruckman, Simmonds is getting on, why send a 20 year old and keep a 30.
Richo, Browny, Johnson, Bowden and Simmonds.... ship EM OFF!

very true, perhaps a better way to put it are the 10 players a club would least like to let go.
For me, players who would make the list are : Lids, Foley, Thursfield, Cotchin, Connors, Edwards, King, Newman, Patto, Richie

Yes they did but that was due to the fact that Polak fell out of favour with Connolly and McMahon's fraudulence finally caught up with him with blokes like Gilbee cementing their spot ahead of him.
Here is my top 10
1. Deledio
2. Foley
3. King
4. Cotchin
5. Coughlan
6. Polo
7. Edwards
8. Rance
9.Newman

Apart from Rainesy who probably knows from his Dad the woes of the Bears when they first started up, we have no one else from either NSW or Qld so there's no go home attraction for us to worry about. Razor and Knobel were ex-Northers but they've gone.
Edit: Forgot McGuane is also from Qld.

Being injury-free for a long while has helped Moore too. In the past he was injury-prone.
