By my count we have about 9 in that age group. With half that now moving outside the age group (Foley, Raines, Jackson, Schultz - 2003/2ish, pre-Wallace).
Is it worrying that the like the Pies are playing a younger group than us, while we are 'blooding' the like of the Might Cameron 'star' Howat? In the pace of a Edwards type which might be a better long term RFC option

Perhaps Cartledge - Tivers - Hyde will be our emg next week 8)

Yes it is , granted it is round 1 and a few of these young players have had injury problems so i will give the benefit of the doubt for now..
We should start to see more younger players in the side soon hopefully starting this week..
I am resigned to the fact that either hyde or tiv will be in this week but if both get in ahead of young players it will be disappointing..

rusling finished and kids burn out by mid yr , i still dont rate the pies, look what a crap tiger team did to them last yr, and we should have beaten them twice

9 vs 10 isn't much of a muchness. We won as well ;). Last year the Pies went with a more experienced side with about half the number of kids. If they continue to play 10 U22's they'll be tested over the whole 22 rounds as X suggested especially if injuries hit. As for a club being concerned it would be the Dads' Army at Freo with no U22's playing at all :o.

Still have Thomas in my side anyday his going to be a champion
