Our supporters are going gaga over some kid in WA on other internet forums. Supposedly a F/S chance for us. Anyone know whats going on?

If he is for us then lets hope he doesn't follow his first name in our captainin the way he plays but he can follow his last name in the way he plays. As Scott Lucas is good while Kane Johnson is BAD.

According to BF, Kane Lucas is one of Bryan Wood's sons who didn't take his dad's surname (Nick Wood is playing for Oakleigh Chargers)

Tad skinny atm but a very, very good inside out mid. Hard at the footy, with pace and evasive skills to get into open space. Good size 185cm and still growing.
Good skills and a good head on his shoulders. Cant remember his Dad's first name but played 200 + games for the Tigs.

Brian Wood was a blonde wingman I seem to remember - didn't he go to the Dons - how many games did he play for them.

Err TM, what father-son selections have we had lately? And dont say Raines, because he was just a draft selection.
None as far as I'm aware for quite a while.
Father-son selections was a massive part of creating a Geelong premiership.

But now with father sons we can also get a gauge from every other club with the bidding. So we can put up our last pick and then other sides say what they would draft him at if they like and if so we have to get him with our next pick
So if you dont trust our recruiters it might be the better way to go. :rollin

Not with the new bidding system mate. If everyone else thinks he's crap then they won't bid for him - so we won't have to pay over the odds and get him in 6th round or whatever it is. But if he's good then we'll have to use a fairly good pick.
