A former player has posted on Y&B some insights on the club around the late 80s/early 90s. Might interest a fair few people here too :).

The player is in incognito TM. Seems to back up some of the talk at the time too.

not hard to find out who played thier first game in 1987 for Richmond & narrow it down  :rollin pfft

I didn't know the players were having trouble getting paid.

The knee would have been the main reason  :'(. Losing Freezer left a massive hole in the midfield with his leadership and grunt.
