They were discussing on the radio earlier today when it comes to drafting kids what skill is a non-negotiable. I'd reckon it has to be kicking with penetration and hitting a teammate with both feet. If a kid can't do this then we should not go near them come draft time. We've got enough poor kicks at Tigerland as it is. Your thoughts?

A brain wouldn't go astray lol
And ready made skills - shouldn't come to a club without 'em and spend their whole careers developing them, ala Kellaway.

My kids should get drafted then MT. They often hit each other with both feet, sometimes both at the same time. ::)
Some skills can be taught or refined but instinctively knowing where to be to get the pill is the most important skill for me.
You can be the best kick around but it's not much good if you can't get the ball.

Discipline and dedication need to go with the skill,
he may get lost along the way as so many"could have beens" have shown.
-
Most important skill is to have a ""positive kick "" otherwords no clangers!

LOL
At least they can find the target regularly FF unlike some certain often named Tiger players ;)

Well we will either get deledio or griffen first 2 picks and they are both good both feet and deledio has great penetration and griffen is ur buckley style laser passing. Tambling is more of a kick to advantage player but is still good.

deledio has great penetration
Hope we get deledio lol
