Title: The Art of Celebrating a Richo Goal
Post by: Moi on May 04, 2008, 07:20:41 AM
Do you go:

(a) “ra-ra- Richo, what a ripper goal, how splendid”

(b) Stand up, punch the air, scream a bit and then sit down quietly

(c) Or do you lose all abandon, jump up in the air 100 feet, do a two and a half somersault with 3.6 degree of difficulty, crash land to the concrete and smash head on concrete requiring stiches.  Even the bloke behind you, who’d played a game or near 500, thought that was a pretty impressive effort lol

I don’t know, I generally go for (b) but I gotta say (c) was pretty S-P-E-C-I-A-L, with a capital S last night by someone who will remain nameless for five seconds  :rollin

Well done, BG25  :bow

But full credit to bloke who played nearly 500 games for putting up a human wall (lovely shepherd/block) to ensure it didn't happen again :thumbsup

Personally I go for "b"

Why isn't this a surprise :rollin. On ya bg25  :thumbsup.

Personally it's (b) for me too.

There's a (d) also for the two girls behind me who did the "Richoooooooooooo" then spent the rest of the last quarter calling every Tiger who made a mistake and every Saint with the ball an expletive  :wallywink.

Normally bg25 is dishing out the punishment - very sharp elbows has bg25 - I've had the contact to my head to prove it   :rollin

Not sure Moi

Had a very swollen check as well that was more painful than the split eyelid. The check last night had already started to bruise

Will be getting an update tomorrow. Didn't want to bother her today - let her rest, I reckon she'd have had a pretty sore head this morning

Latest update - on the mend

Still sore, some glue on the eyelid instead of stiches, badly bruised and swollen cheekbone

But remember as bg25 always says "it's only a flesh wound" :thumbsup

Thanks folks for all your concern (at least I think that's what it was). Still look a bit like the elephant man...one side of my face is slightly misshapen and I have a mixture of dark purple and green and yellow (very Patriotic) bruising.

Did venture out in public last night....we had a Player club function...I'd like to say that our players are a lovely bunch of caring boys who showed a lot of sympathy for me...I'd like to say that, however the reality is that a lot of them after showing initial pity then just laughed.

Anyway all's well that end's well and the doctor assured me that the end result could have been a whole lot worse.

Back tp full health only a tiny scar as a reminder

No dramas on Sunday either - we put padding on the seats in front ;D and bg25 was rather quiet and sedate for the entire match apart from her normal volley abouse towards the umpiring fraternity  ;) which was quite richly deserved I might add  :thumbsup
