TIGER Brett Deledio is a contender for this week's AFL Army Award for his courage against the Saints on Saturday night.

Deledio ignored the sound of any footsteps and, with eyes only for the ball, wore a heavy collision with St Kilda's Steven Baker in the contest.

RICHMOND’S Brett Deledio has won the AFL Army Award for round seven, receiving 50 per cent of the votes for his courageous attempt to mark with the flight of the ball.
