Bucks' criteria
The toughest footballers don't show pain, discomfort or distress like other players might.
The toughest ones make it a habit to get on with business; they overcome constraints that would have others looking for a way out.
Tough players, in my view, have a single-minded focus to do whatever it takes to achieve the desired result: to win games of football.
To this end, nothing - and I mean nothing - gets in their way.
Physically, these players are rarely bowed, even when hampered by restrictions that would cut down most others.
Mentally, they are never beaten.
Every moment of the game is an opportunity to enforce their will on the contest.
And more often than not, they do.

maybe a few 'stray' elbows here and there too :lol

Hard to find one in the second half today. No one was willing to stand and fight.
A brave effort by Blingers going back with the flight of the ball in defence to mark.
-
Hands down has to be Jordon McMahon.
Schulz he is tough, tough as kleenex ::)

Anyone can be courageous at a critical point in time in their lives or a certain point in time. However bravery toughness if you will is a trait that is ingrained on the fabric of your persona at a very early age or through strict discipline training regime where you instinctively and naturally throw your body head first into the line of fire without any regard of what and who is around you despite the dangers and pitfalls of you doing so.
Richo epitomises this to a certain degree as does Foley. Beyond that I am finding it hard to actually find someone who actually can be seen as tough. Hopefully Cotchin can use Foley as a role model and develop a further level of hardness. The majority of the rest are fairies who are worried about their manicures the colour of the hair and hairstyles and other metrosexual pretty boy traits.

we have one little man who stands out, Jake King thats bad news hearing that from me.
we have others in Newman, Richo, Tuck, & maybe a few others but too often its not shown
When sizing up teams we have muscle but are small in height & body compared to other clubs & no-one fears us in physical tuffness cause we get brushed off in tackles like we are nothing or they just plain run through us
we are weak as pee
-
we have no player with the presence to affect the opposition. its always worthwhile in every draft to pick up 1 bastard type.
-
In our team as its all about me not about the team, I would have to put down Richo and Axel as the 2 that try to make it a team game and not a me game.

Not sure i agree with the mcMahon call, i think petts just shades him ;D
