Anyone would be better than those clowns.
Would suggest this.
K. Sheedy -Director of Coaching and Co-Coach.
Leon Cameron or Nathan Buckley . Senior Coach and Co-Coach.
ummmmmmmmmmm

Neil Balme as Director of Footy for mine

Neil Balme as Director of Footy for mine
If Sheedy was there, Balme and a few others, sorry many would come back, this would fix the current culture problem we have.
Balme take over from Miller. Sheedy oversees the whole lot.
We would have 40,000 members next year.

On Cameron, he looks the good whenever I've seen him and Rocket can teach but can he deliver a spray, no coach has been able to deliver a good spray and be feared for over a decade now and I want a coach like that, one that delivers fear and expectations on a platter like Mick Malthouse or Rocket.
the Geisch, Spud and Wallace recently just dont seem like the bloke who will throw pooh about and tell every player exactly here they're at honestly. They just seem to much like the players friends. :-\ ???

Out Thursty, Tivers, Petts, McMahon, Polak and Bowden
In Rance, Connors, Morton, Hughes and Polo.
Tivers and Bowden pulled aside and given the "Gaspar" chat. Elevate Collard and Cartledge, lets see what they can do.

Jack - you want me to take you seriously about this sack the coach stuff - then leave Sheedy out of it. When one has a look at the mess that is the current Essendon list you cannot seriously expect people to believe he is the answer ::) ::) You claim we need to go forward - we wont with Sheedy. Their list (the list Sheedy left them with) is a shambles, give me the Tiger kids anyday
But back to the topic...
Ins: Polo, JON, Reiwoldt
Out: Tivendale, Tuck, McGuane

I didnt say he was to be the senior coach, he would oversee coaching.
Would say a Leon Cameron or Nathan Buckley would be perfect fit for us.
You say give you the tigerskids anyday, seen a gun on the weekend who is more advanced than Richard Tambling, now how could that be.
Sadly this kid will get ruined if he listening to the current half wit and kicks the ball 10 metres which he did on 2 occassions, right in front where you were sitting I beleive.( Cotchin)
Well lets start playing the tiger kids ans stopping dropping the likes of Morton back to Coburg all the time.
You tell me, why has pettfier got a game in front of Morton if you say play the kids.
Anyway, the coach and Miller are gone anyway, you better get used to it the idea.
-
Where is Connors by the way ? Some crap about having no pre season someone wrote early as an excuse.
Guess what, either did Cotchin. Cotchin has showed more in 4 games than Tambling has done in 3 years I am afraid to say
-
Balme needs to be headhunted back to RFC to takeover Millers job ASAP.
As for the coaching team, a whole new team needs to brought in at the end of r22 this season.
No other conclusions can be drawn.
In the meantime, we must tank and get the picks. 2 out of Natanui/Rich and Hurley are a good start for a new coaching panel.
-
I didnt say he was to be the senior coach, he would oversee coaching.
Don't care what the role is - we don't need Sheedy at tigerland. Past his use by date and the state of the Essendon list should be enough to warn the majority off
Would say a Leon Cameron or Nathan Buckley would be perfect fit for us.
Nayfan Buckley - wouldn't touch a richmond.. you should lsiten to the radio a bit Jack he hates the RFC. I doubt Nayfan has the courage to take on a CLub like Richmond
You tell me, why has pettfier got a game in front of Morton if you say play the kids.
As you constantly tell those of us who disagree with you I have no idea remember so why are you asking me
Anyway, the coach and Miller are gone anyway, you better get used to it the idea.
Guaranteed - you know this for an absolute fact or is it just another of your "Jack Fact" :whistle
-
Yep, wait and see, you aint going to like it either., but thats bad luck.
You are biased with your views on Miller, he has bought nothing to this club. He has everyone sucked in
-
Hardwick is the man that we should be getting to coach us.

Forgive me for thinking stability is a good thing ....
So we can expect you to be part of the up coming coup Jack ;D

yes stability is good WP of course it is but we need to rid this club of the miller and wallace ticket.
you see even if we do tank and get these picks, miller willer try and offload the pick and further send us back 5 years.
he has brought zero to this club and we must get rid of him at once. surely you agree with that dont you??
-
Stability is indeed good and the club standing firm in the face of angry fans is meritorious also but this is 4 years of continual failure without a hint of resurrection. Wallace and Miller have to go recruits like McMahon and such are not a way forward and neither is the game plan we are employing at the moment. Since 2004 these are the win loss stats against teams who finished in the bottom 4 with us.
The key component here is taht since rd 1 2005 all coaches have been employed at their club there has been no change in mentor.
From Rd 1 2005 - rnd 11 2008 that is a full 3.5 seasons
W L D Win/Loss % Finals Series Paricipated Highest Finish
Collingwood 41 40 - 50.61 2 in 2006/07 4th 2007
Had a poor 2005 where they had a 5-17 season after a poor 2004 but since then have won 36 from 59. Have drafted kids they have needed and played them in the positions they are best suited to, to ensure an even performance across the board where all players are significant contributers and not just a select few hence their consistency since season 2006.
Westen Bulldogs 43 34 2 55.69 1 in 2006 6th 2006
Slowly improved in 2005 and continued improvement in 2006 saw them make finals before a poor final 7 weeks of 2007 saw them only take a draw and nothing more. A full club evaluation where everybody was put on notice and the Dogs have responded by being 9-1-1 at the half way way mark of 2008. Have drafted shrewdly over the last few years and have not seemed to miss the injured West as their midfielders have done the job adequately and smart pick ups like Akermanis have only added a touch of class. Achilles heel may be their lack of big monster talls up back and a key forward but for now the game plan implemented allows for quick movement my smaller type players who have the ability to score heavily.
Hawthorn 39 40 - 49.36 1 in 2007 6th in 2007
Instilled Alistair Clarkson as coach and was prepared to totally clean up the list and get rid of deadwood whilst keeping what he felt valuable and setting up an antisocial yet hardworking skilled team built around the enigma that was pick 5 in the 2004 draft Lance Franklin and his sidekick pick 2 in the same draft Jaryd Roughead. Fruits of his labour began to be picked in season 2007 after he was prepared to have a short term pain period for long term and sustained success that will allow his team to have a legitimate crack at September glory. Lack of key talls up back may prove their undoing but nevertheless of the 4 sides to finish in the bottom 4 in 2004 they are the best credentialled side for September glory as we speak.
Richmond 27 48 2 36.36 none 9th in 2006
Terry Wallace arrived with much tumult and fanfare in 2004 as the Messiah having convinced the board on a five year plan but 3.5 years later his plan seems far less convincing and all the tumult and fanfare is all but a distant memory. It seems the Richmond curse has either struck again or the man has no idea. Proudly talked up the merits of Tambling after the draft of 2004 who unfortunantely has not come on in leaps and bounds as with some other early draftees whilst others who seem to have a bit to offer are continually kept in cotton wool at Coburg whlest old timers like Bowden Pettifer Tivendale and Hyde keep getting regular senior call ups. Has endured 4 thrashings of over 100 points including the clubs worst loss a 157 point debacle to Geelong in 2007 from a list that in essence has not changed all that much in his 4 seasons. Skills decision making and game plan has plagued his sides who find new ways to lose and new ways to capitulate thus sinking to new lows on almost a week to week basis. Has the worst win loss ration of the 4 coaches mentioned and seems to have more bark than bite in his comments along with his sidekick in Greg Miller. In 3.5 seasons the side has only marginally improved their ladder position from 16 to 12 with the finals being a mere pipe dream as the team still remains just a bread and butter proposition to the better sides in terms of an easy win with a clear lack of improvement on the field. Clearly the team has psychological issues that need to be addressed and whether that is done by an impatient board now or at a later point in time the proof is in the pudding and the results of the last few years.
So there we have it folks results of Malthouse Eade Clarkson and Wallace from rd 1 2005 to the present day and how they stack up against each other. 1.5 yrs left of a five year plan that is an exercise in futility. Neither of the 3 other teams have won spoons. All have made finals and have won finals matches as well as more than likely making the finals a second time in 4 years as with the case of the Dogs and Hawks this year leaving us further and further behind. All have taken significant steps in their improvement bar us as we have hopes on a handful of blokes who are very talented and not yet champions and a number of blokes who have been on our list for a while but have not been tried at the highest level yet and if they can't cut it then we are back to square 1 again and if that is the case then Terry and Miller are the 2 only people that must be made accountable and held to ransom for it.
Just goes to show you Terry's retaining of certain players on the list in 05-06 almost got us to the finals but by 07 it was obvious that they would get us nowhere and hence the disaster that was our 2007. Things have persisted this year as the cancers are still getting games. Maybe now after severe public scrutiny and media ridicule he may go with the kids as he should have gone fully in 2005 and thus now had us competing on par with the 3 aforementioned clubs rather than running a long way behind them. Either way Terry has 11 weeks to save his job in the eyes of the media and the footy club as according to most of us he should have packed his bag ages ago. Personally I hope he doesn't and Damian Hardwick takes over but time will tell.
I wonder in 2012/13 when comparing ourselves with the current cellar dwellars in Melbourne Essendon Freo and West Coast how we stack up against them?

Out: Tuck, Pettifer, Bowden, Tivendale, McMahon, Polak, Thursfield (inj)

You're not seriously saying Connors is as good as Cotchin. Daniel has talent but Trent is a stuff. The best kid to walk into Punt Rd since Matty Knights 20 years ago.

funny when you see a huge list of outs & in
by making so many changes bring instability to the side & game plan if there is one & the other club aint got a blueprint of it on matchday :lol
so many changes would be disasterous

More disastrous than leaving in a bunch of non-performing older players who have been holding the side back for years? Players who don't seem to follow any game plan other than their own?
Please.

& who makes these decisions, Terry Wallace thats who, the man who wants to hold back Richmond while his beloved club Hawthorn beckons for finals & possible premiership glory while we stink in our own pooh because he has control of our future.
Put Paul Broderick in as a caretaker coach & see how the team performs l bet they would set the league on fire

I would like to see Bowden, McMahon, Polak and Tuck dropped along with the selections below but I think it is hightly unlikely for the reason Tigermonk has already stated - team stability.
But surely TW can see that with the return of Bowden and, to a lesser degree, Polak we are a worst preforming team. He needs to look at not how individuals appear to be preforming with indicators such as possessions, but more how the team plays as a whole with them as a part of the structure.
Morton is an unsung play-maker as far as I'm concerned who is very team orientated. He doesn't kick many goals himself but creates an abundance of opportunities for others with his blocks, tackles, dummy leads and assists. We have missed his pace and flair since he was dropped.
Similiarly Jack plays a similiar style. He is a live wire who is always looking to assist in goals rather than kick them himself. This has been a negative at times this year with goals gone wanting from his bot as he has tried to square the ball rather than take the shot himself. He is very Richo orientated if the big man is in the F50. He is a play maker.
Connors and Polo are future start up players in our team. Polo had an increible first game but shoulder injuries have held him back this year. Similiarly Connors was a tough players with spark but suffered from a lack of preseason again due to injury. Both are now finding form for Coburg and should be in the mix. Connors for mine at the moment given his strength and fight.
The other big thing we need to look at is our rucks. Simmo is not right. He in injuried and can't jump as the game wears on. We should rest him and bring in someone like Cartledge (if elevated) or even big Gus. The only problem is that Patto does not have the height or strength to match it with the number one ruckmen this year which would expose us in the centre anyway. It is a delemia that will not be easily fixed.
My Ins and Outs are -
Outs
Tiv, Petts and Thursty
Ins
Connors/Polo, Morton, Reiwoldt
With these 'Ins' I would send Polak into the backline.

HellenicT...nice of you to pick Malthouse (who has been building up the pies list since 1999) Eade who inherited a list that had received priority picks in 2003 (Cooney and Ray) and Clarkson who went to the Hawks who were way more advanced than the Tiges...oh wasnt Hodge a top draft pick in 2001.
Why dont you compare Wallace with Melb and Carlton...they are the other 2 bottom teams from last year...I wonder what Carlton's win loss record is like since 1 January 2005???

Squad that trained today:
Newy, Lids, Simmo, Polak, Browny, Jack, Cotch, Edwards, Bowden, Richo*, Jordie, Polo, Petts, McGuane, Rance, Morton, Tuck, Jackson, Cogs, Schulz, Patto, JON, Tambo, Hyde, Tivs, Hughes, White, Moore, Foley and Howat.
Richo didn't train with the main group but will be playing.
No sign of Kingy.
Cogs and Howat won't play obviously.
