Carlton are denying it but there was a massive plunge on Richmond today and betting has been suspended by TAB Sportsbet.
Healy and Russell saying dropping say 4-gamer Armfield wouldn't result in such a betting plunge. The Carlton bloke has just said Judd is fine after receiving slight concussion on Sunday.

That's quite a co-incidence because betting was suspended prior to round one because of Fev's problems in Prahran.
-
From the rumour they suggested it was Judd. He was still suffering from the effects of the concussion an hour after the game.
-
Wouldn't it be great if it was Fev who is out? :lol
-
It's only going to be either Fev or Judd.

It's only going to be either Fev or Judd.
Can we hope for both?

Why not :thumbsup

Could be Stevens having trouble with his neck again
-
I hate these type of rumours becasue they get my hopes up! :pray
I'm just going to go to the game expecting their best team to be on the park and if a miracle occurs and Judd is absent then it will be a nice 'surprize'. :-X

I'd rather beat them at full strength anyway
People who hope for the opposition to be injured are weak

Yeah?
Well come over here and say that to my face and we will see who is weak? (he says from the safety of his anonymous keyboard :lol )

It's a big name though :lol
-
Ratten confirmed today it is Judd who is iffy.
TAB Sportsbet has re-opened betting:
Richmond $1.62
Carlton $2.15
-
Mick Gatto.
He was out last nite too..
-
judd ooh thats a shame.
every other year its us who cop the injuries so it all evens out in the end...
he will probably end up playing..hope its nothing serious like a neck thats all.
-
Judd only ran laps at Blues training and Fev is sore but that means nothing as Richo hardly trains at the moment either. Let 'em play so it gives them no excuses when we beat them :thumbsup.
-
Enough with the insults ::)
A rumour on SEN just before that Judd has a crack in his cheekbone which is being kept quiet.
-
From todays HUN :-
Phil Hannah from Sportsbet says they took a $6000 bet on Fev at $6 last week.
"Our hope is that he doesn't play this week and there is a strong enough tip around he won't"
-
Doran on SEN says that he's heard a whisper that Judd could have a cracked rib.
-
The rumours are flying!
I think they will both play. :help
We will beat them with or without their big name players!

Yeah well I heard his leg fell off and when they stuck it back on his head exploded. lol.
These clowns in the media just make it up. Of course he could really have a cracked rib, cracked cheekbone and concussion. Nah Lloyd's too soft to do all that damage.
-
Dont care either way, but you can allready see the tankers loading up with excuses for either scenario.
At the end of the day one team will get 4 points the other zip, so dont give a stuff who plays or doesn't or how fit they are.

Exactly right!
We've already beaten them once this year with Judd and Fev in, Essendon have beaten them twice, once with Fev, Judd and Stevens all starring.

Almost got it right, but it actually was his head fell off and when they put it back on his leg exploded. :banghead :lol :lol
-
Judd won't play.
SEN just now - confirmed by Ratten. Medical staff said he wasn't right.
-
Excellent. :wallywink
-
didums :lol
-
You wouldn't wish injury on a player but that's going to help. No doubt.
-
dissapointed
wanted to beat them at full strength.
Iguess that means Hyde goes to Stevens and its goodnite blues :sleep
wouldnt be suprised if Sugar doesnt play either now. Whi is he gunna tag? Wiggins hahahahaha

Bugger there goes an opportunity to stick it right up them. >:(

Judd ruled out of Tigers clash
foxsports.com.au
June 27, 2008
CARLTON have suffered a major blow with captain Chris Judd ruled out of Saturday's important AFL clash with Richmond at the MCG.
The Blues confirmed that Judd would not play as a result of being concussed in a heavy clash with Essendon skipper Matthew Lloyd last Sunday.
"The Carlton doctor has monitored Chris's progress this week and while he has continued to improve he has not recovered sufficiently to play in tomorrow's game," coach Brett Ratten said.
"Medical tests conducted during last week's game, following the heavy collision in the first quarter, indicated Chris was fit to continue during the match and the medical team regularly monitored him throughout the game.
"Unfortunately his symptoms deteriorated after the game.
"The medical team have confirmed that Chris playing out the game against Essendon has had no bearing on his availability for selection this week."
Judd was replaced by youngster Darren Pfeiffer in the Blues' 22.
Midfielder Andrew Carrazzo (concussion) and spearhead Brendan Fevola (back soreness) had also been under an injury cloud.
But, unlike Judd, both trained with the main group and appear certain to play against the Tigers.

$20k bet on the Tigers at $1.65 within 15 minutes of the annoucement.
Tiges now into $1.62; Blues out to $2.30.

That's right it mattered to them in Round 1 when we beat them with all the hype and Judd fanfare. Who care's that he aint playing b/c tomorrow aint about him either its about us our centennary and our footy club. Let the Bluebaggers eternally suffer and fail. :thumbsup
-
As long as it doesn't make us complacent and it doesn't knock the crowd down because some Blues fans now don't turn up then it shouldn't matter to us. This is our celebration :gotigers.

Assuming we have Hyde and Polo into the team to tag then who will they tag now. Could Polo be replaced by King?
My guess is Hyde will go to Stevens and Polo to Carazzo/Murphy.
Hope we shut down their forwardline particularly the drunken strangler...Fev. ;)
