Terry alluded to it in his interview.

It's going to be good to see how we go about it without him.

Bowden  :pray

Kingy played for Coburg so he may even be an ommission?

I think Schulz will replace Polak, McGuane for King and Collins for Richo.

Yep it'll be interesting to see how we go. No excuses for us though in terms of kicking goals. Hughes, Morton, Jack and the mids should still be able to kick a score.

If Schulz doesn't come in this week with Thursty, Polak and Richo all out then surely it has to be bye bye for him.

No matter how much we love Richo, it is good news that he is OUT.

We usually win the first game that he is out and it would be SENBLOODYSATIONAL to win two games in the one season in Perth.

Having Richo missing seems to change our focus as we attack, but we will miss him across the wing.

Be back soon Richo.

Wallets big planning to have Richo back to 100% after the break blew up in his face & just shows his a dumbass coach. Richo should have been rested after the origin game as should Simmonds cause both were playing injured.
Shows Wallace aint got Richmond football club in his best interests & that he just dont know how to manage players young or old. Cant wait to see the end of him cause the Tigers are going backwards since his arrival

I don't see how allowing Richo a shot at 300 games and an outside chance of a Brownlow is against RFC's interests. That's the worst thing about Richo missing this week. He'll now have to now hope his body can hold up to 2010 if he wants to become only the 4th Tiger to reach 300 games (unless we were to make the finals next year). He deserves some special personal reward for 16 seasons worth of blood, sweat and tears to the club.

would like nothing more than to see any Richmond player break the 300 game banner, Takes a great man to reach 300 games,  but no player is bigger than the club & should not be carried through games, that will cost the team a win
There is a team of players out there that each needs to do thier job over 4 quarters to win games.
Richo willnot poll many votes in the Brownlow medal because we dont win the games & votes will go to the winning sides 80% of the time.
Gary Ablett has the Brownlow already being polished  & inscribed for him.  ;D l will pocket a good reward for my bet, as you know l mentioned early in the season.  Richo will poll 16 votes in total if he is lucky

Agree no individual is bigger than the team but I don't think Richo playing was costing us wins   :lol. In fact we won 2 and were level with Carlton when he went off with a hammy rather than the crook knee.

Ablett was a certainty until Freo went headhunting today. He'll miss a week at least with that ankle.

Agree was best on ground against Melbourne so he is definentely no hindrance to the team and should never be labelled as a bloke being carried to a milestone match.

Title: Richo back next week
Post by: one-eyed on July 18, 2008, 07:37:31 PM
Ch 10 showed some footage from training today. Richo was doing some running with a fitness coordinator and is a week away.

-------------------
"Matty was pretty close this weekend, but we thought we'd just give him another week to prepare," Royal said.

"He's got an ageing body, he's got a couple of ailments with his knee and his hamstring, and I guess it's just important that we don't rush him back and the injury becomes a reoccurrence."
