Richmond are set for our biggest ever home attendance VS Brisbane. The current top crowd is 31,688 in R3 2001 at the MCG and surely we will comfortably exceed that and set a new mark.
I estimate 36,000 with us in contention and coming off two wins and with a fair wind 40,000 is not impossible.

dont count on it.the atendance yesterday of 55k was nothing short of pathetic.
-
yesterday's attendance was poor enough shannon I admit that but if we can't get at least 32,000 v 6th place Brissy while still in with a shout we are a disgrace.

Hello - bullies and cats on live - game live on fox - freezing day - teams placed 11 and 12 and you think 55k is pathetic?
Compare it to any other sport - see how it rates. It was an exceptional crowd.

Mid-high 30ks would be a good crowd on a Saturday night at the Dome against Brisbane. 4 wins out of our past 5 games should attract more aboard the tiggy train.

40 188.
If we get 40K will be an excellent crowd at the Dome on a Sat night.

This will be an interesting guage of whre we stand as a draw.
Carlton in 11th drew 38,675 to the Dome V the lions. Essendon in 12th drew 40,053.
In 10th coming off a Biog 4 win and with a run at the finals if we win we really must be drawing high 30s. 38,000 plus if we are serious about rivalling the support of those two. Quite honestly it's put up or shut up time for us.

You have to remember that Telstra Dome is the home ground for both Carlton & Essendon
Richmond supporters don't like going there so our numbers are always down
-
When was the last time we played them at home - f the dome >:(
2001 by the way :scream

In fact Infamy our inter state average attendance at the Dome is less than 1% lower than the MCG. It's a myth that we draw better at the "G". People who want to go to the game will go to the Dome. People who don't won't. Simple as that. The Dome is an excuse for poor attendances not a reason - at least not a valid reason.. All the big clubs play most of their inter staters there and we are no different. 3 of our home games are there. we either live with that or fail to support the club and less than 38,000 V the Lions will be less than the Blues or Bombers get in almost exactly similar circumstances. That's the reality.
