bombers won!!!!!! by 48 points lol

There might be 5 spots in the 8 up for grabs with Sydney's loss to the Crows. We are only 2 games from 4th spot. Double chance lol. :lol :rollin :lol

The other games were a bonus but Adelaide winning was one we didn't want. We would've been in the Eight tonight if they had lost to the Swans. Oh well destiny in our own hands. The Adelaide game in 2 weeks time is now one we must win.

Agree - this is the game that we wanted the most. We didnt expect the scum and the saints to lose, so its a bonus, but I honestly thought we would replace Brisbane and Adelaide for our spots in the 8 - and that relied on them losing to Sydney and us beating them in 2 weeks.
My ladder predictor says we will finish 9th even if we beat Adelaide.
Last night's win gave us hope for another 2 weeks and right now, thats good enough for me.

Not a great day for us results wise. Okay North were expected to win but the Dogs did us no favours getting run over in the second half. I was hoping they would knock out Carlton's chances today :scream.
It's really hard to predict what's going to happen now as the top sides (excluding Geelong) are now dropping games that you'd expect them to win so you can't rely on them knocking out the sides we're competing with for a top 8 spot. Seven clubs now separated by only 6 points. One of the most open seasons mid-ladder for years.

Very unpredictable from here on end. All we can really do is worry about our own results and hope the ladder falls our way. I am particularly concerned with Carlton - I could not stand it if they got in and we didn't! >:( What is their run home like?
We need to pinch a win over the next three weeks at the minimum. Adelaide seems our best bet but who knows?
An exciting month ahead :jump

Yep we need at least two of those above us to not win more than 2 of their last 5. The Adelaide game will be when our season will be on the line.
It'll be better for us in the 8-point games not involving us that 2-3 of those Victorian sides just above us win all their 8-point games which hurts the chances of the remaining two interstate sides. If they spread them around then it's more likely they'll all win at least 3 games which would stuff us up (I can't see us getting anywhere near Geelong or Hawthorn).
Carlton have a tough draw but they are more in control of their destiny as they play 3 of sides they are trying to dislodge from the top 8. If they make the finals then they'll deserve to be there as much as we hate them. Same goes for us mind you if we can knock off the Crows.
