Hawthorn forward Buddy Franklin is in some doubt against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday after receiving a badly corked right thigh during his six-goal haul against Brisbane in Launceston on Saturday.
Franklin played out the match, but he was sore yesterday after experiencing swelling on Saturday night on the flight back to Melbourne.
Franklin, with 91 goals, is an odds-on favourite to win the John Coleman Medal as he is seven in front of Carlton's Brendan Fevola, who booted four against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
The Hawks star has not missed a match since round 17 last year.

I tend to think that he will play and if he reaches to 100 then just maybe he might be rested for the finals. Which we are now out of again.

"Badly corked thigh but played out the match" but still managed to shrug off two lions players, blind turn and then kick it from 45 on a 50 degree angle, in what should goal of the week at the 26 minute mark of the last quarter if I remember correctly.
So must be in doubt. ::) He's got 8 days to recover from a corkie, he'll play.

Although Osborne has missed the past two weeks with a so-called 'corkie'.

Fair call but Osbourne plain couldnt play with it.
Buddy still tore Brisbane apart regardless.
