Post by: one-eyed on August 25, 2008, 02:54:27 PM: Mentioned by Robbo on SEN and has been confirmed now that Robert Shaw is leaving Freo where he was their football operations manager to head back to Victoria. And just before Hartford sounded like he was linking him to possibly the Richmond job.

Surely he goes against the criteria the club is looking for. Shaw is hardly contemporary and Freo would be the last place you would look for success.

I think we were just behind Melbourne when they sacked their bloke.

Pretty much.
And wouldn't we have to wait until the end of the finals, or at least the Hawks finals campaign is run before we find out about the Pelican?
