LOLROFL - Hijacked again.

When Jordy is bad, he is bad. Would give him a 5/10 should of been dropped at stages I would of thought, but had some good one's too.

Better lift his defensive side and decision making next year otherwise there will be no excuse not to give him a spell at some stage.

u can blame your mate brackets for the other thred being locked. loser.

as for mcmahon he is a big minus for me this year.

i dont g a stuff about this crappy little wins against the dees where he gets his pathetic 22 kicks that mean nothing.

Its the games that matter he goes missing. He doesn't have the eye of the tiger that will ride us to the holy grail.

he makes too many mistakes to be a part of this group's premiership chance. we need someone who in the final minutes of a game, when we are 1 point up, can rely on to kick it straight to an opponent, he is not the MAN.

I wouldn't be taking pot shots at bowden peoples because at least he wins games off his own boot. Mcmahon couldn't get a ro.ot in a brothel, let alone win a game of his boot.

Fair enough, apologies Bent.

But it then doesnt make sense why this thread isnt just about Jordan McMahon.   I dont see any mention of Morts in this thread.  :-\

Time to tank.
Morton, Connonrs types should be blooded. Hyde, Pettifer, Bowden never played again.
10 games played. 3 won.

"couldn't have put it better myself!!"

April 7th:
"TW is not a good coach because he rewards failure. pathetic pettifer, bowden, tivendale should all be dropped.

i would rather get pumped with kids than see these players get us to within 50 points every week."
(This one actually got posted twice in different threads)

April 13th:
"our older players have gotta go and go now. petts, bowden, richo, johnson, hyde, tivs among others."

April 7th:
"i agree with u on pathetic pettifer and bowden. geez the wheels have really fallen off there"

April 13th:
"i would like bowden out of the team for another week and petts no longer be in this team."

April 28th:
"wtf is the difference between these 3 players

tivendale
bowden
mcmahon

my take is absolutely sweet eff all"

July 12th:

Would be happy to trade Bowden for a 2nd round pick.

"2nd round pick!! Now that i would consider.."

"2nd round pick!! Now that i would consider.."

Another Dumb stuff who leanrt how to cut and paste, good on you loser

cut and paste this di.kchead. all my quotes..........

2nd round draft pick for Bowden. fu.ckin oath i would take that. what an idiot you really are posting that.

FACT!!! if it werent for Bowden, Tuck and Richo we would have finished 14th this year. Since Port they have been our best 4 players with lids.

Bowden is 100% richmond, u losers who hate him forget that.

Not like our captain who came over for money.

BOWDEN and RICHO should retire when they blood/y well feel like it. They are dead set guns.

Bowden would come close to winning the B&F if it was decided on the last half of the year.

Im very proud of the way he has played footy this last 2 months. Legend he is

Top 4?Huh

being positive is a good thing but lets be realistic here.
Our best players today were RICHO and Bowden.

Of the 9 games we have won this year, Richo and Bowden have played a major part in winning at least 5/6 of them.

"What no comment re: Bowden. Loser. he was in the votes, a blind man could see that."

"ooh and by the way if you think Bowden wasn't in the votes today you are more dillusional than i thought"

Football / Richmond Rant / Re: Tigers vs Hawks       on: August 17, 2008, 06:05:28 pm
Yes Yes Yes it was a good win.

From start to end i cant complain and i have no faults apart from Schulz's game. I thought he was average today.

Can someone tell me why we dont play Rance?? Surely he would make less clangers as schulz made today.

"make lids captain i say. great game and richo and bowden you are a pair of fc.ukin beauties"

These are my quotes u loser. u may dislike Bowden but at the end of the day we would have finished 14th if it werent for him, Richo and Tuck. FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!

And someone who learnt to spell and someone who learnt to get their point across without swearing or becoming abusive to other posters.  Its called maturity and manners and when you grow up you might find either of them come your way.  Then again, my 4 year old grandson has more of both than you appear to have so maybe it's a forlorn hope.

Now, because you appear to struggle with even the most basic concepts of comprehension I will start again.

My original question:
Quote
When did you become such a Bowden fan?

Your response:
Quote
Are you serious mate?

Maybe u should read back on my posts.

So I did and I found a number of posts where you thought Bowden was not up to it and said he should be dropped/sacked.  And when I put them up as examples all that was required of you in rebuttal or response was a perfectly simple, balanced answer to the effect "I thought he was playing poorly early in the season but has improved a lot since he has come back in" (or whatever else you truly believed).  Answers my question and places no question on your credibility or opinion.  No need for the swearing or screaming or petulant display of 'tanty' throwing.  You would be amazed at how much more weight your opinion carries when you are able to present it in a factual and respectful manner.

So all we know about you regarding the Bowden question is that you either changed your mind or don't know your mind. Nice posting Daniel.

Not entirely sure who you're referring to here, but smokey proved you wrong and you abused him for actually doing some research and backing up his claims. Try looking in the mirror some time before you accuse others of needing help.

The other thread was locked because it had turned into a thread of insults between posters rather than sticking to the topic....

And can I add that there were more culprits than just "brackets" that caused it to be locked

You blame brackets for getting the other thread locked, but you're doing a bloody good job on getting this one to be locked too.

You are correct Imfamy

=====

So for the whatever number it happens to be this time round I will repeat... :banghead :banghead :banghead

1. Enough with the sniping, insults and childish name calling and stick to the topic. I've said it in the past I don't care who started it or how it started just bloody well end it!

2. Dont resort to personal insults just because a person disagree with you

3. Stop trying to avoid the swear filter especially in regards to the "F" word, this is again out of hand.

4. We don't like suspending people but there are a few on here who are bordering on leaving us with absolutely no choice

He questioned your support of Bowden and being a fan of his and when you denied it he provided quotes where you said you never wanted him to play for the club again. If you can't see how he proved you to be wrong then you are delusional.

If you are unhappy with the word "wrong", then feel free to admit that you are two faced and a bandwagoner.

So anyway - Mitch Morton has had a great year. To come onto the list as a 21 year old and be one of our most potent goal kickers in his first year is very exciting. He is exactly what we need going forward and adds that much needed unpredictability to our forwardline. We need a variety of targets such as Jack, Cleve and dare I say it - Collard, in the mix all kicking around 40 with additional scoreboard support from our midfield and we will be hard to stop.

Great to have a player like Mitch wearing the yellow and black!

hey infamy/brackets bandwagoner. buddy i was dodging blue coats at waverley with a richmond membership as a 5 year old while you were changing teams.

I have been to every b&f for the last 5 years, never missed a game. try go at least 2 interstate games per year so if thats a banwagon then maybe u need to get ur head out of brackets ring hole.

lets go mate. you wont win with me ill play you and brackets with my eyes closed.

Boy that Morton has been good!

Wonder if Gourdis will ever slot into the forwardline or he will become a backman. Given the abundance of quality backmen we appear to have with Moore, McGuane, Thursty, Schulz, Newman, McMahon and now Rance I think the coaches have switched his focus back to his original game as a forward.

Anyway great to have a trade that immediately performs and is young enough to keep doing it for years to come. Go Mitchy!

P.S. Am I posting to the right thread here or should I just start abushing people to fit in?!   :whistle ;)

Has been a standout trade this year - much better than the Judd trade.  And my reason - Judd is a known, Carlton knew what they were getting and paid the correct price for that.  Morton on the other hand was a gamble on an unknown, cost us stuff all and has paid off in spades.  Shame Miller got no kudos for his role in that hey!

Shame it gets to that isn't it.  You come on a football forum to debate football, not read a tirade of abuse from people who can't discuss an issue rationally.   :banghead

36 goals in 18 games. Avg 2 goals a game. Can get to 50 goals in a season and that would be a fantastic result from a small forward. Perhaps next year or with added maturity can turn a 3-4 goal match haul into a 6-7 haul. :thumbsup
