How did we all rate Simmo's year?
After a broken ankle restricted his 2007 to just 10 matches, Simmo played every game this year as first ruck averaging 16 possessions, 6 marks and 16 hitouts.
Games Disposals Marks Hitouts Tackles G.B
2005: 22 13.2 5.6 13.8 1.4 19.23
2006: 21 16.4 6.7 18.4 1.5 25.10
2007: 10 9.9 4.0 12.7 1.9 1.1
2008: 22 16.7 6.3 16.3 1.3 13.6

Had some really good games and had some average ones
I sometimes wonder if we get enough hit outs to advantage from Simmo
Certainly around the ground he is very very good and gave us great drive

A good hard worker for a big man. 6.5 /10. :gotigers

Peaked for the Exhibition game and maintained a reasonable level thereafter. Is starting to get found out at the clearances by the beanpoles, however the 4 boundary umpires might just suit his aerobic capacity for next year.
I'd like to see Simmo get less % gametime next year. By that I mean having a better 2nd ruck option and allowing Simmo to have more of an impact when he is on rather than playing a full % of minutes.
IMHO, the 5 year deal has been a success for 3 of the 4 years, with the 5th year likely to leave the lasting impression. I would perish the thought if RFC did not have Simmo's contribution.
At 30 y.o+ he now needs some serious help to take the 09 side into finals.

Vital.
It is also vital that he gets support from a quality 2nd ruck.

I think with time if we could get him minson of the Bullldogs in time would make the right one.
