Title: Which Tigers do you think will end up big-game players?
Post by: one-eyed on October 14, 2008, 09:47:09 PM: One of the big tests for us is to not only try and build and develop a quality list with depth but to also have guys who will step up with something special and get us across the line in the big games and the finals.

So which Tigers do you ppl think will end up big-game/finals players?

They are the big time performers.

Browny has that ability, but is getting near the end.

Post by: Chuck17 on October 15, 2008, 01:26:32 PM: I am going the future smokey punt in Dan "the man" Connors. He has plenty of work to do on his game but with the speccy he can take and his attitude I reckon I would put a few bob on him at the good odds he would probably get.

He has the rare 'freak' gene. He can do some amazing stuff.

Collard if he gets serious could also be a freak, big game player. Snap a few out goals out of his backside, take a screamer or three.

Watching him break through the pain barrier at Subiaco this year with a knee injury and them come back and kick a 60 metre goal shows what heart he has.

Connors if he eventually controls the mental side of his game and makes sure his doing the basic things as well as he can do the party tricks. He has the ability and freakishness with more maturity to become a game breaker.

Cotch of course with a preseason fitness base behind him to play out a full game.

Moore - showed this year he doesn't seem to get fazed by whoever he is playing on.
