Some Dutch scientist is claiming he can help people erase bad memories

A drug commonly used to treat high blood pressure may help people erase bad memories and even treat phobias, a team of Dutch scientists say.

If you could erase bad RFC memories what would be at the top of your list?

Jason Dunstall....17 goals at Waverley.  Still cringe when I think about it.

All the SCG games going back to the one where we actually won one a couple of decades ago (or it feels like that anyway)

The "spitting" incident was a low point.

1982 GF. Crying about footy games isnt my style, but at 12 years of age, losing a GF can be a pretty sad event in a kids life.

Last year at the SCG would be a good start

I was seven and to this day I can't move on and hate that Cheating Filth more and more each day. But I am better now. :lol

Thrashings at the hands of Gary Ablett and Geelong where do I start
Round 4 1988
Round 10 1999
Round 20 1990
Round 3 1992
Round 8 1993
Round 24 1994
Round 8 and 1995 P/F
Round 6 2006

Losing to the Dees in 1998 Round 22 when we were the only team in the comp along with the Bulldogs to be in the 8 all season.

Being a Richmond fan and living your formative years of life subjected in an era of abject failure with no success can leave you empty. Hopefully things are on the up now. :pray

Browny's injury - was so hard to think of what he was going through, what his prospects to return to footy were and just a horrible moment.

2002-2004, with those last 2 years in particular being horrid memories.

The coach, the recruiting, the excuses, the financial performance and the mediocrity was a nightmare.

100% Correct.

Grew up and lived across the road for 28 years and remember that day and the Prelim against Geelong like it was yesterday.

There are too many.

Off the top of my head

1982 ...how can you flog a team in the Prelim and lose to the same team two weeks later.

1996 to the year 2000.....What a bloody tease.

2004....being 4-4 and finishing the year 4-18

Nathan Brown breaking his leg in 2005...Richo his knee in 1995.

Losing Stuart Maxfield to Sydney at the end of 1995....Ottens to Geelong in 2005.

The simple fact that in the last 27 years we have won 4 spoons and played finals only twice.

Anyhow I believe we will be rewarded for our loyalty soon.

1981 - 2007 :banghead and yes I know we had sprinkles of good fortune in there, but a blanket erase is necessary :rollin

There have obviously been many forgetful events in recent times especially the "Frawley days" but the draw against the Bulldogs last season killed me. It hurt us in oh so many ways.  :banghead

That was me too although I was 9. Never seen a more gutted changerooms either since.

Years 1987-1992.

The Spud years 2002-2004

On the brightside it'll make winning the flag all the more sweeter :pray.

I cried when we lost to Melbourne, the one we had to win to make the finals back in the '90s.

This is a Richmond one because we played them, but Fitzroy's last game was a real tearjerker!  I would like to erase that one from my memory.  Hate seeing clubs go out of existence.

Anytime we have finished 9th after winning 12 games for the year.It seems so unfair .Other teams have scraped in winning 11 or 10 and a half

Seconded.

Pick #4 Tambling
Pick #5 Franklin

Not looking great either

Pick #8     JON
Pick #9     Mitchell Clark
Pick #10   Marcus Drum
Pick #11    Shaun Higgins
Pick #12    Nathan Jones
Pick #13    Shannon Hurn

And I'd have any of picks 9-13 over pick 8

Heres hoping these two can prove me wrong, but I would've turned blue already if I was holding my breathe
