Although we lost, the 3rd quarter had some good highlights for us.
Here's a video.

Just on Sarge, he might not have done much, but if he's in a contest he usually brings the ball to ground and doesn't get outmarked.

Working now :thumbsup.
Great stuff wayne :cheers :bow

What a great quarter....if it wasn't for one shocking umpire mistake and a poor King kick it could of been a 8 goal to nill quarter.
Do you guys realise that it was the only quarter we have won this year....lets hope that changes against the dogs. :thumbsup

The one thing noticeable in two of those goals in wayne's video was the forward defensive work of Nahas. In the contest on our HF line he cleverly tap the ball out to Simmo and Foley and we were able to clear the ball forward for a goal. Then he tackled Scarlett into a handball error to Browny for a goal. Nahas didn't do that much with the ball with what 12? possies but it's that forward defensive pressure that we need for 4 quarters.

the youngster was hammered first 3 times he went near it, to his credit, he persevered and won some clean ball in 2H, he did enough to earn another game and show us if he learnt anything :thumbsup

Thanks for that Wayne. Good stuff.
Jay's possession count was low on Sat but what you have mentioned is why I reject all the calls for Hughes ahead of him.
Schulz provides a very good aerial target which brings the ball to ground for crumbers.
He is good at the physical contest. Hughes on the other hand is a pussy.
He first q was admittedly shishousen on Saturday but he lifted in the 2nd and 3rd terms when the team was at it's best.
He is good for structure IMO. Just needs to kick goals.

Geez I only just watched it, it's pretty small!!

It's still watchable even at that size and it loads fairly quickly too.
