There was a passage of play today on the city side of the ground in our D50,( 3rd quarter) a teammate went in board to richo, and missed him by metres which resulted in a Bulldogs goal. Think it was Edwards?
Anyway, Richo didnt bother to turn around and talk to his teammate but the look on his face said everything, why am I playing with a ""bunch of spastics"". Can tell you it was an incredible turnover, as the ball should of been going forward to am unmanned teammate instead of going sideways to richo who was under the pump.
Richo deserves better.

richo made a mistake that coast us goals too, and regularly misses easy goals when he is gifted the ball. goes both ways. feel sorry for richo , maybe , feel sorry for the boys who busted their butts to get the ball to him and he misses, definately
its not all about richo
-
I never thought i would say this, maybe it's because i am a little angry BUT the great man does make a lot of mistakes too. He is the heart and soul of Tiger Land but misses to many easy goals. His kicking and sometimes his decission making are really bad. Bad kicking is bad footy and thats the bottom line and Richo is a terrible kick!
We as Tigers supporters love him because he gives his all every week but his goal kicking hurts us as much as Tambling does with his fumbling and poor disposal.
I still love you Richo but you break my heart also sometimes!
-
I love Richo too and he DOES miss the important goals in some cases as was the case in the last quarter last week, but I tell you this if all the other 21 players in the team with Richo displayed the same committment and effort and felt the same pain, joy, ebbs and flows the way Richo does we would have had a few more finals appearances over the past 15 years. I feel sorry for him. Would rather stuff up having a red hot go at doing something as opposed to falling dramatically short due to my mental inadequacy low work ethic and poor attitude.

richo is fantastic, we all love him, but he has not been the answer for us and its time we look beyond richo cos he wont be here next yr

NOW IF THATS NOT A FANTASTIC POST THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS.
yes richo misses goals but he has also kicked 800. he will kick more goals than about 15 of our players will get possy's in their whole career

Yep, he has played with a bunch of spastics for too long.
the look on his face today , he just stared into the crowd in disbelief :banghead

Richo had a real 'why do i bother doing this for' look on his face just before the siren went today. i would not be surprized if he gives it away after this season.
-
I heard a bloke on the ABC post game say that Richo is the reason why we are not more successful. Too much of a sook he said. What a load of tripe! If we had 22 players with his heart we would be flag material! Yes he makes mistakes but he has pride, something his teamates lack! He moves up to the wing and we cant kick goals, he moves forward and we cant prevent goals or get it down to him! At least he shows disgust at the lack of skill both his own and his teamates, the others dont seem to care
-
Don't criticise Richo. He is the only thing standing between this club and total complete ridicule.
No badmouthing His Majesty.
-
It might be time we all had a look at the big picture. Is our greatest strengh also our biggest weakness?
The team is still way too reliant on Richo to win games.Sad as it will be when he retires ....it may cause other players to finally step up and become champion players -just like Matthew.
-
this should be richos last year
bowden johnson and brown should join him, as should simmons
That is the only way forward for richmond
-
Bowden & Johnson should have retired at the end of last year, so they are certainties to go this year
Brown probably could go on next year, but only if he keeps playing like he did against Geelong, not Carlton & Bulldogs
Simmonds we need to keep, even if only as a backup ruckman
Richo to go one more

Agree here - the mistake was that Bowden & Johnson should have retired last year, now we could have 5 retirees in one hit, and thats before the delistings and the trades.

When one of our flankers looks up for an option to kick to, the big fella Richo is the only one presenting. That's why they kick it to him all the time.
-
enough of this feeling sorry for the big fella, he makes his own luck and has realised prescious little over last few weeks...I love the guy like a brother but dont let him off the hook with that ol chestnut :'(

Well said, if he is such a champion I am sure the last thing he wants is people feeling sorry for him
