JAckson is dud i dont see how richmond likes him. i was at the game (swans v tigers) and he played like the kids at half time.. dont throw how many kicks or marks he got most of them were crap and ended up giving the ball to the swans >:( >:(

He kept Goodes to less than half the possessions he normally averages and gained more than any other player in our team himself. Regardless of your feelings about Jacko and the quality of his desposal, these facts are very positive.
I think Jacko is fast becoming not only our best tagger but one of our best midfielders.
Sorry to disagree :-X

I'm not his greatest fan but today Jacko totally shut down Goodes who tore us to shreds last time. If most of his teammates had such a dominant display over their direct opponents we wouldn't have lost.
I must have watched a different game given the players being bagged tonight while others who actually did stuff all escape criticism ???.

I guess going to a game doesn't help you, save yourself 15 bucks and watch it on TV :thumbsup

he has improved plenty, shame he lets himself down at times, quite often when under no pressure with a misdirected kick...generally it's either too long or too short...if he could iron that out a couple of times a game...he'd go up another notch

Actually I thought it was one of Jacko's better games
When he went off, Goodes actually got into to the game...
Jackson did a very good job indeed... still makes some terrible decisions but he isn't alone in that facet of the game

I was at the game too and dont know who you were watching, Jacskon is No 23
And what the f does this comment mean
"how many kicks or marks he got most of them were crap " How do you get a crap mark?

Jacksons tagging role on Goodes was first class :clapping

So far this year Jackson has played on Judd, Selwood (beat him), Griffen & Cooney (beat both). He also kept Harvey to 0 touches before he dislocated his elbow too plus now almost shut out Goodes. Not sure who he played on againt Melbourne, but he got a stack of the ball and was one of our best then too.
He had a few clangers today in 7, but he also had 9 clearances.
Had a very good year and is probably leading our B&F

You're kidding, right? Maybe you only watched the kids playing at half time.

That makes sense now. The Auskick kid wearing number 23 must be named Jackson, but Jackson who?

Almost spot on Infamy. Jacko is doing really well against some big names but he wasn't on Harvey. Jacko just layed that great tackle.

JACKSON WAS FANTASTIC YESTERDAY YOU IDIOT.
he didnt have many mates though e.g morton, newman, Jack, Richo, Foley

I'm not a huge fan of Jackson, he butchers the ball but his worth is elsewhere. Tagging and his body work in the middle is first rate and he'll slowly become one of teh best taggers in the game. He actualy kicks probably 1 in 3 absolute perfect worm burners but the other 2 will be mediocre disposals.
He's growing on me.

I looked at the title of this thread and thought that it was a post from early last year that someone had updated. I went to the game and watched Jacko closely. The guy runs all day. His stamina is first rate. Sure he hurls a few grenades but he really did a number on Goodes which for mine is his primary role. I believe he is one of the leading taggers in the comp based on current form. If only our forwards had presented better and capitalised on their opportunities we would have actually won this game.
