With the season almost at the halfway mark.....Which players have improved since 08.
Some have stayed at the same level......Plenty have gone backwards.....Which ones have enhanced their reputations ?
I think there are three stand outs. 1) Jackson
2) Tambling
3) Polo
After that I begin to struggle.... :help
-
Deledio
Jackson
Tambling
Polo
McGuane
Graham
Plus a few rookies
-
Mr Magic....No doubt Deledio and McGuane have been good players in 09...But have they improved in 09 or playing at a similar level to 08 ?

I think both have improved.
-
why have none of you got Collins down
-
Collins, Graham and Jackson would be the standouts for mine. Polo and Bling have also stepped up.
Cousins and Nahas are great inclusions.
-
Polo
Rance
Jacko
Blingers
Collins
Graham
Nahas and Cousins have been good additions as Stripes said.
The problem has been most others have stalled or gone backwards from 2008 :-\. The positive at least is the improvers are in our U23 group.

This looks right to me too.

I think Nathan Foley is a real interesting case.....Statistically his numbers stack up really well.
2007...averaged 24.2 disposals per game
2008...22.2 disposals per game
2009...26.3 disposals per game.
Yet the overall perception is that he is only having an "average" year.
I wonder if he was a victim of Terrys game plan...and a new coach will see a return to the player we all fell in love with.

Not by me Matt.
He was injured early which affected his game but I reckon he is doing great.
His possessions are generally under intense pressure or running flat out and hence why his disposal can look bad at times. He is a great hard ball/contested ball player.
I reckon he is having a very good year and would almost put him in the improving category.

Polo
Jackson (a very pleasant surprise)
White
Collins
Graham (another surprise)
Rance
Tambling
McGuane
Great additions = Nahas (a very very pleasant surprise) and Cousins

Agree Chuck. He is playing a different role now to that when he first 'burst' onto the scene. He is more valuable now than he was then but his disposal is still his 'knock'.

While i agree pretty much with the players named so far i think one that has been missed is Kel Moore.
maybe its not as obvious when he is playing alongside Luke Mcguane but nonetheless he has alos improved.
