From Crumden on BF:
There was a story about Richmond's indigenous set-up on the Marngrook footy show tonight. After the piece they were talking to Phil Egan about his involvement and one of them let it slip he was going for a board position. He confirmed it and seemed pretty serious. He wants an indigenous ex-player on the board and he seems pretty keen to be the one. He is always pretty forthright when talking about Richmond on the show. Doesn't pull his punches. Interesting times.

I reckon you need a few more credentials than being a quality person to be on the board of a footy club...
My next door neighbour is a quality person but I wouldn't want him the board ;D
And BTW Phil is already around the place isn't he? He is supposed to be a mentor to the indeginous players IIRC
Need to see what he going to bring to the table I reckon

he got stuck into wallet a few times on that show :whistle

Phil used to work down in the gym at Punt Rd for many years, might find that Wallet told him to disappear
