Agree Ramps, need another Senior Player out on the ground at the moment , to help "'marshall the kids "" and try and lead the way.

i dont really agree with marshalling of troops, id prefer not to bring bowden back, but he is the only player that we could bring in with rance the other.

NO to Bowden!!! NEIN,NYET,NUP. Ditto for McMahon, Pettifer and JON. We have to stick with the direction we have adopted over the last 3 weeks. No going back now.
OUT: Silvester, Foley (inj)
IN: Rance, White

And let's just hope that it's time for VENGEANCE!!!!

have you not taken your medication today??

NO to Bowden a 250 game player but you say yes to a player called Shane Edwards.

he is one of the worst players i have seen play at this level.

Compare Nahas and his work rate, run and tackling compared to that imposter you want to keep in the team.

Its players like Edwards which is why we are where we are. Skinny little runts that belong down Commercial Road rather than playing for our club.

on that note

OUT: Edwards( Never to play at this level again) , Foley, Cotchin (Time to say hello to Coburg), Silvester,

IN: White, Browne, Raines ( Currency ), Bowden

Like Richo we have ruined Bowden's career by playing him in the wrong position, the back line.

I would like to see him play out his final year in the forward line which is WHAT HE IS....A FORWARD.

Exactly.
Wish a few of these experts   :rollin here would watch/pay attention to those who go to Coburg. 3/4 of a game for the year doesn't instill much confidence.
As for Connors in...... that's even sillier, apart from his form (ordinary) he looks to have an injury.

White really showed his class yesterday.

Sighs. Back to the topic.

Out: Foley, Edwards
In: White, Thompson (Can we give the guy 1 game, we traded for the guy for god's sake... let's have a look)

Silvester I'd give another game, not on Fevola, let our best backman deal with there best forward. Lets see how he goes on a OHailpin or Cloke or Fisher who ever they have.

Give Edwards a break, he's young, I think his best footy is in the foward line, pinching a goal or two.

Think we need to get Rance back in, Cotchin probably needs a rest he's a bit underdone.

You are one of only a couple to mention Whitey from yesterday's game.

What did he do that impressed you?

No to any old farts that wont be there next year.  Cuz and Richo can offer something the rest can't.  Bowden can have a send off game and thats it, we have gone down a path and must continue on it.

Out Foley

In White

Edwards is getting painful to watch, dare I say it a bit like JON.  Just not sure who can replace him (under 25 years of age), maybe Raines?

Edwards needs to get into the gym and on the body building supplements.

Outs: 41 Foley, 10 Edwards

Ins: 35 White, 31 Thomson.

i'm not sure why Thomson has been overlooked so far. perhaps this is his week....

It's pretty clear.  He hasn't been good enough at Coburg to consider him in the senior side.

And injuries.  But lately, just not good enough form.

Collo injured as well could mean our youth only policy might be broken this week  :-\.

Out: Silvester, Foley (inj), Collins (inj)
In: Rance, White, Hughes

Only putting Cleve in to give us a tall target to kick long to and to say to him if you want an AFL career then put up or it's back to Norwood next year.

In: Rance, White & Cogs or Thompson & Pattison

Out: Foley, Collins (if injured), Foley (injured), Silvester & Edwards

We can win this game, I watched the Dockers game and the Blues were not that flash, they have lost it a bit and I think that minus our turnovers we we have played some good football......... exception of Saints of course.

I'd actually be tempted to send Gus back to Coburg after Saturday night - he has to learn when things aren't quite going his way, dropping his head for a sook isn't what the team needs  :thumbsup

The first quarter against the Saints was one of our best for the year and we also outscored them in the last.  That game only looked awful for the half game that actually was - the other half we were very respectable.

In the mix: round 15

Richmond

Midfielders Nathan Foley and Andrew Collins will both miss through injury. That could open the door for the return of Nathan Brown, but given he hasn’t played since May, the 31-year-old is most likely to return through the VFL. Adam Thomson could get his first run for the Tigers, Ben Cousins could spend some more time in the midfield, while Adam Pattison is pushing to get his spot back, which could then see Ty Vickery play a forward role.

I'd be happy to see Patto back in exchange for Vickery. I saw the tiges at Carrara against Adelaide and Vickery looked lost. He didn't know where to stand and kept looking at the crowd instead of the game.

I personally didn't think he did much better than sylvester yet everyone is calling for sylvester's head  :-\

Best reason to keep him in the side for the rest of the year then.  While 2009 is well and truly lost if we can get valuable games experience into our young recruits it may just bring them on that much faster.

The AFL website preview seems to be hinting that Thomson will play his first game for us....

Will the Tigers continue with their policy of playing new players? Jade Rawlings has debuted a player each week so far under his reign, and Adam Thompson could be the next to get a run.

I didn't think Silvester was all that bad for a 2nd game - he did at least kick it long when he had it.
