Title: Your preferred Final 3 coaching candidates to face the RFC Board?
Post by: one-eyed on July 08, 2009, 08:27:04 PM
Craig Cameron said today that there'll reduce the number of candidates down to a Final 3 who the Board will select the new coach from.

Who would you prefer as your Final 3?

It is a pretty impressive list and would be difficult to cull down to 3! No point picking sheeds, there is line through his name :lol

Richardson is a dark horse. Worked at Richmond before in 2001 and is really good with young players. Sumich is another.

Would be really happy with either Hardwick or Buckley. :thumbsup

2) Hardwick

I really think Bucks needs to be made our man.

These are my 3.

1. Damien Hardwick
2. Leon Cameron
3. Ken Hinkley

I reckon Bucks ego will get in the way - he will pull out.
Would also be happy with Richo.

REally happy with the quality on offer. Tiges just need to get the off field - facilities, fitness staff etc right. We will get a good coach

In no particular order
Buckley
Hardwick
Hinkley

With Alan Richardson as my next choice if I was able to pick a 4th
Then Sumich as 5th option

i would like either Ken Hinkley or Damien Hardwick.

i would like Michael Malthouse too.

i don't know why, but i think Nathan Buckley will not be our coach and probably go to North Melbourne.

if Michael Malthouse was available, he would be my first preference.

Malthouse
Hinkley
Hardwick

Too hard to say without access to the info the panel will have.

I mean I know very little about Tudor.

If we are going purely on empirical evidence then IMHO it has to be Hinkley, Hardwick and either Sumich or Longmire. If it were this easy thought we wouldn't need to go through any such process.

Bucks hasnot got the gonads to come to Punt Road.

Expect him to sit this season out

Without having access to the "process" in no particular order - Hardwick, Hinkley, Richardson. All associated with premiership success and coaching developing lists at one time or another. Hinkley and Richardson have also coached their teams at lower levels.
