hahahahahahahahaha lets drop deledio for his 100th also Ramps and delay it for another week. Would not want to win a milestone game now.............

Possibly the two others you are referring to may come from McMahon Brown Pattison Schulz??????

As long as no one at norfs pet dies this week, may be a chance here.

Out: Moore (inj), Edwards (needs a spell in the 2s)
In: Silvester, Hughes

The question this week is how much can the match committee not be tempted to play the older blokes who played well today for Coburg?!

Hopefully the selection committee when they convene during the week resist the temptation to bring in a Bowden or a Brown and just give them a send off game in either rd 20 or 21 being our last home games for the year. Maybe we can keep Edwards in the side to go onto Corey Jones after King has been on him for a quarter or so. :rollin

Out  Moore (inj)

In Silvester

Why make wholesale changes to a winning formula.  ;)

Bringing in too many fringe players who have had their chance and may be on what they feel is there last chance may be risky. If someone like a Schulz or a Pettifer come in and kicks 8 we win against a team who had a similar plan as us and that player is delisted at the end of the year only for us to finish 11th would be devastating and galling to us fans.  Tank tank tank and only subtle changes.

Outs: Moore, Edwards

I'm keen to keep up the run of newbies with the inclusion of Thomson in this weeks team. With Moore injured I would like to see the return of Silvester but otherwise, a player from left field, Polak could make a return.... :shh I think if he has another couple of games like yesterday Polak could make a reappearance during a home game for the supporters.

Ins            -----              Outs

Thomson                         Tuck (far to good with clearances for my liking  :P)

Moore                             Silvester

I know we can only win one more game but to shut every F'wit up in the media comparing our list to North’s, I would love to give them an all mighty hiding this weekend. I consider myself fairly football educated but to compare our list to Norths is just laughable! We are a great coach, one more good onballer, a key forward and a little luck away from being a very competitive side. That is why we must get Buckley and get a priority pick come November.
Football is a funny game and it can change very quickly (just ask Hawthorn) and a little bit of good management over the next few months should see us heading in the right direction for the first time in a long time.  :pray

OUT- Edwards and Moore

INS- Raines and Brown

I see there are a few calls for Raines to come in.

Based on his game on Sunday at Williamstown - absolutely no way, not enough defensive pressure on his opponent, average disposal, did have 4 goals kicked against him.

But hey it's just my opnion  :thumbsup

Wouldn't he provide a bit more run out of the backline in a better side than Polo did, I think Polo has been off the money for a few weeks.

Just reading that Robbo blog again on the Hun and he actually says that Raines won't be there next year.... go figure.

Debatable I would think. Disposal is not great and his decision making is slow, hence why he gets caught so often. His tackling on the weekend wasn't much chop either BTW

Teams have young Andrew very much worked out and know he will try and break the lines by baulking, problem is they know which way he is going to go

Fair call in a way - he has trade value because the media (god bless 'em) are always talking him up. I reckon you could easlity get a 2nd rounder for him

Geez I hope so, a second rounder would be an absolute steal.

I would be happy if we just keep playing the kids.

N. Brown can come back once he has kicked 5 for Coberg.

I know I was being generous  ;D

But really the media rate Raines highly and are always pumping up his tyres - we need to use this to our advantage

Well I would still like to see him play this weekend, BTW what happens if we have another Rodan situation on our hands??

We throw in Schulz also since Port were so keen on him a few years back and we were so keen on holding on to our nugget and we ask for a 2nd rounder and a slab of West End or Coopers in return.

LOL, yeah sounds good TB but we couldn't give Schulz away that year to Port or anyone else, lets face it he is finished, never actually started in all honesty.

I believe Ports pick 28 was on the table for Schulz and the powers that be at RFC hung on to him :banghead

If Port give us a slab now lets take it and lets not look back.
In hindsight giving pick 19 for McMahon as bad as that was would have been compensated slightly had we had pick 28 and that kid was playing senior footy now. :banghead

So who did they get at pick 28??

It may have been Marlon Motlop in the 2007 draft

Way to early to call on him only playing five matches but he has a good surname.

Infamy I think has got into the tanking spirit WAT. :santa

Now that Lids has got to 100 games Lids will have the RFC flu next week.
Tambling will have a stomach bug.
Jackson will have a hairdressing appointment to keep the red in his hair.

In the mix: round 16

Richmond

New coach ‘Jade the Blade’ Rawlings hasn’t been shy when it comes to making changes each week, but this week could be different. With a host of new players in the team already, and nobody really pushing up from Coburg, the Tigers could meet North with an unchanged side.

Cousins played with cold type symptoms against Carlton and was too sick to do his radio spot on Nova monday morning
