Still coming to terms with the disappointment of last week's disastrous fade-out against North Melbourne, Richmond captain Chris Newman has pledged a four-quarter effort from the Tigers in Sunday's Rivalry Round clash against Essendon.
"I think maturity probably plays a little part in that - we had a fairly young side out there on the weekend and putting four quarters together is one of our biggest challenges at the moment and playing consistent throughout the game."

Fitness? Mental? Young side?
Whatever the reason we play at most two decent quarters. It seems if we go hard early we run out of puff in the 3rd quarter and if we don't start quickly we give the opposition a 5 goal lead and then play catch up footy for the rest of the day :P.
