No surprise with one forced change. All 4 ins named on the extended bench so no clues there. You wouldn't think Tucky or Cogs would get back into the midfield after last week's win. I think it'll be Moore over Rance as the replacement for Silvester will have to be more key defender and at this stage Kel is more suited to that role than Alex.

Moore back to face Dees

RICHMOND has just one significant change this week, with key defender Kel Moore returning to the side for the round 18 clash with Melbourne.
Moore played the first 15 games this season before a calf injury forced him out of the side.
The promising Jarrod Silvester, who was carried from the ground in last weekend's win over Essendon with a leg injury, will miss with a knee, and is the only omission.
While Silvester couldn't get up for this weekend's game, he is expected to be available for next weekend's clash with Sydney.
With the game on Sunday, the Tigers have announced a squad of 25, which will be trimmed to 22 on Friday evening.
Also coming into the side are Alex Race, Shane Tuck and Mark Coughlan.
Football manager Ross Monaghan said the good performances in the VFL had been the catalyst for selection.
"Tucky, Cogs and Rancey were all among the better players at Coburg last week," he told richmondfc.com.au.
"Alex did a good job playing on Russell Robertson, and Cogs and Tucky both had about 40 possessions each, so they're pretty ready to go in that squad.
"We didn't want to change a winning combination from last week too much, so we've just got to find a replacement amongst them for Jarrod."

Translation: We have no matchup for him this week, but next week Sydney will have Jesse White he can play on so we'll bring him back for that one

Silvester is genuinely injured albeit not seriously if he'll be available next week. He didn't train yesterday and just did some handball in the rehab group wearing a long stretch bandage over his knee.

Those tanking pricks not bringing in Sylvia and leaving out Moloney. Lets beat em by 100+m and embarrass those cheating mongrels.

I agree. This a great opportunity to really bury a side and make a statement. I realise we beat them by 80 in round 22 last year, but if we're going to win (and it seems inevitable) then let's win properly and rub their stinking noses in it.

Sylvia would be leading their B&F. Of course he's not in their best 22 ::). Where's the media articles about the Dees tanking?

How does Moore get in without playing any return games from injury & earn his place like everyone else
Tuck, Rance should be in. Talk about double standards from Rawlings

Tuck, Rance should be in. Talk about double standards from Rawlings
Because he never lost his place due to form and was only out a couple of weeks due to injury
Its only if players have lost fitness due to an extended period out of the game that they need to return via VFL

If Moore had been out for 3 or more weeks then i would call it double standards. Personally i believe Moore has proven he is a team orientated man over and over again and therefore does not require re- education in the twos!

After the RFC players at Coburg shocking "effort" last week it was no surprise Kel was the one who came back into the side instead.
